A Golf Vacation To Rival Hilton Head

Imagine an island golf destination that has been voted number one in its nation not once, but twice in a row. Imagine more than 26 golf courses on that island. Imagine vistas of white, champagne, pink and red beaches; or ocean waters extending far, far beyond the horizon. Imagine a day of golf that leads gracefully into a night of fine seafood dining at a five star golf resort. The island isn’t Hilton Head, its Prince Edward Island…and the country is, of course, Canada. A Prince Edward Island golf vacation offers ocean panoramas and courses created by renowned designers including Robinson, Hurdzan and Fry, Tom McBoom and others. Crowbush Cove, boasting 18 holes over 6,901 yards, features nine water holes and eight holes near the famous dunes on the Gulf of St. Lawrence. World famous, it has been awarded a 5 star rating from Golf Digest and is listed among the “Sweet Sixteen” top courses worldwide. From sunrise to sunset your choice of fairways for your PEI golf vacation comes with any number of backdrops including coastal dunes, breathtaking ocean views, and lush forests and rolling farmland. Wildlife abounds and you may well catch a peek at the endangered Piping Plover. A vacation in the smallest of Canada’s provinces need not be limited to golf. Prince Edward Island teems with as much or as little activity as desired. From simple walks along miles and miles of beaches, to hikes along nature trails; from cycling tours to paddling or deep sea fishing, there is something for every outdoor enthusiast. Shopping, arts, crafts, music festivals and the finest of seafood dining are also requisites for any Prince Edward Island vacation be it golf or otherwise. And as varied as your choice of golf courses for the duration of your vacation are the accommodation options offered by the island. From campgrounds to bed and breakfast through hotels and the finest of five star resorts, your vacation is truly your own creation. This summer, set a course for a golf vacation to rival that of Hilton Head. Make it a Prince Edward Island golf vacation.

    The Power Of The Podcast

Podcasting is an equal opportunity venture. You have homespun hobbyists and longtime professionals developing their own bit of audio for worldwide consumption. You can find podcasts on politics podcasts, tax tips, music of the 80’s, original drama, humor, classic automobiles, and guitar instruction. In fact, the list of additional podcasts is limited only by your imagination. Some producers use a simple USB microphone attachment that is picked up and recorded by software in your computer. From there it can be manipulated, mixed and saved as an mp3 file. Many podcasts do not rely on studio equipment and mixing. The audio creator is simply using the simplest means of recording intelligible thoughts and then allowing site visitors to consume the information at will. Podcasting is to mp3 downloads what web cam videos are to YouTube. They can be entertaining, informative or simply background. As the idea of podcasts continues to grow the prevailing mystery of producing, saving and distributing an audio file is essentially fading away too. There was a time when many computer users were intimidated by the thought of trying to upload a text file then photos, but as a familiarity with computers continues to improve the exploration of new ideas makes audio distribution a highly personal way to deliver a point. For Fred and Eric this means shutting the door to their computer room every Friday night and spending a couple of hours producing a fifteen minute podcast. They both have indicated their wives wonder what they do for two hours and why they spend time developing a podcast if there is no pay involved. Both men chuckle when they relate the marketing potential wrapped up in these free podcasts. One has a small record label and the audio he produces points listeners to the label website to purchase some of the material presented. The other does voice work for clients and his podcasts highlights his skills while he gives free advice about how to do voice work for clients. Neither of these gentlemen is interested in discontinuing their podcasts. It is true they do not see tangible revenue from the download of their audio, but the their work is essentially an entertaining and informative advertisement for their primary sites where purchases can, and are, being made. The best news is they don’t make their podcasts blatant advertising. In both cases they utilize something that encourages listeners to come back, and they are. Each of these podcasts are subject to an RSS feed and one has even moved to offer the feed as a phone download if the listener is on the go or may not have immediate access to a computer. The truth about podcasts is they are not only for the broadcast professional. All around the world these audio elements are created in basements, cottages, mansions and studios. The acceptance of podcasts is generally strong and while your weekly listenership may not be as strong as a national radio program it does offer something that some of these programs don’t offer – the ability for consumers to listen when they want to listen. The notion of on demand listening and viewing is changing the way the world thinks about how they accept material and it is having an impact on traditional radio and television stations. This is the power of the podcast.

    Secured Loans An Overview

A secured loan is one of the most basic loans you can get. These types of loans are typically only given when collateral has been secured. Many lenders see secured loans as being a safe investment, and they are often given to customers who apply for them and have some form of collateral. The collateral for these loans could include your home or car. They differ from other loans because they are much more flexible. While secured loans can offer you a lot of flexibility, there are certain things you should know about them. It is not a good idea to use these types of loans to pay for everyday expenses. Those who need improvements for their home, education, or a new vehicle typically use secured loans. Some people also use secured loans to consolidate other debts such as credit cards, but you are advised to avoid doing this too much. These loans should only be used for specific expenses. You should also study the method of repayment carefully before you get a secured loan. As strange as it sounds, some lenders may charge repayment penalties for those repay their loans too early. The interest rate on these loans will vary, and will be dependent on certain factors. The amount you borrow and your credit will be the most important factors. The internet allows you to compare a wide variety of different secured loans to see which one suits you best. While most people with bad credit will have a hard time getting unsecured loans, lenders are more likely to give these people secured loans because the low risk which is involved. Even if you have a history of bad credit, banks will still give you secured loans because your property will be used as collateral. At the same time, default on your payments and you could end up losing your property. While it isn't necessary to own your home to get a secured loan, you may have to use your mortgage. Secured loans can be as low as $5,000 or as high as $50,000. Before you get the loan, you will want to setup a payment schedule you can afford. The good thing about secured loans is that they are generally less expensive than loans that are unsecured. If you feel that your job is unstable, you can place insurance on the loan as well. Because the payments on these loans are low, you will be able to spread out the loans over a longer period of time. Despite this, it is important to remember that the consequences for not making your payments can be severe. These loans are referred to as being "secured" because your property will be used as collateral. This could include your house or car. Your house or car could be taken from you if you fail to make your payments. This is why it is important for you to make sure you get a loan that you can afford to pay back. The good news about secured loans is that the lower payments typically make them easier to deal with than other types of loans. They don't have many of the same problems that you may encounter with credit cards, unsecured loans, or car loans. Despite this, not being responsible when managing your finances can cause you to have serious problems, regardless of what type of loan you get. Discipline is the key to financial success. Credit plays an important part of our lives today. It is hard to get a job, house, or car without having solid credit. Because of this, it is important to use secured loans wisely. You should take all the precautions necessary to avoid getting into a situation where you default on your payments.

I Always Look At License Plates

I am one of those people that always gets a little board when I drive. I love to be in the car, but I get a little ansy when I have nothing other than driving to do. Being in the car with friends or family is great because then we can share good conversation, but I don't always have people in the car with me. I recently took a long road trip across most of the country. It sounds crazy, but I actually drove from Virginia to Oregon and back for a project I was working on. I started looking at license plates to pass the time. I agreed to do the long road trip for my job. My magazine editor was looking for a writer who would take two months away from the office and write a series of pieces about traveling across country in a car without maps and without a plan of where to stay or where to travel. I took the offer without thinking about my disdain for being in the car alone for hours on end. And let me assure you that this project required long hours alone. Within a hundred miles of leaving our office in Virginia I had begun searching for different license plates. I got out a notepad and began to record each of the different license plates I saw. My goal became to see all the license plates of the fifty states and as many varieties of each state license plate in the two months of my road trip. I figured that in that amount of time on high ways and roads in so many states I'd have a really good chance of seeing all the license plates. I doubted that I'd come across Hawaii or Alaska, but I was hopeful about the other forty eight states. You wouldn't believe how much of my energy was taken up during that road trip by searching for various license plates. It kept me awake during long stretches of road when I would usually be bored and distracted. I loved keeping track of the license plates and of how close I was getting to my goal. I told friends, family and co workers about my main source of entertainment during the trip and I receive a variety of reactions from them. Some thought that looking for license plates was a great way to pass the time, others laughed at my goal and thought I should be doing more productive things during the two months on the road.

    Downhill Mountain Biking

Mountain biking has developed into several different categories depending on the preference of the rider. Some prefer cross country while other prefer the downhill. Downhill mountain biking is such fun to do that many have specialized in racing downhill. Downhill mountain biking is a very adrenaline pumping sport. The speed that bikers reach while participating in downhill mountain biking races are really fast. The possibility of an accident happening is great because the downhill bikers pedal their bikes even as they go down at great speeds. The reason why they still pedal is to achieve more speed and go faster than their opponents. ] Downhill mountain biking races usually have two categories. You either race against an actual opponent or you race against the time. Racing against opponents are what is called dual slaloms. In these races, both the downhill bikers are released simultaneously and they race to the bottom in a bid to reach the finish line first. The other kind of race is done by letting the participants have a go at the downhill course at least twice. The best time they achieve during the two runs will qualify them for the next round. This is usually done this way because the downhill mountain biking course may be too narrow to hold two participants. Sometimes the first kind of downhill mountain biking race is better because the participants are really face to face and they are aware of how fast their competitor is going so they try their best to outrun ach other. This kind of race also makes for a more thrilling race especially when there are spectators to cheer them on. Downhill mountain biking participants need to wear protective gear and armor to avoid too much damage to themselves. The body armor are made of hard but pliable plastic to protect our rib cage, spine, shins, shoulders, arms and collar bones. The body armor can only protect as much as it can but if a biker throws out his arms to cushion his fall, the possibility of broken arms is still there. Downhill mountain biking is a rather dangerous sport especially if the individual goes at a fast speed. A helmet is also needed for downhill mountain biking. Helmets in this category are full face helmets very similar to motorcycle helmets that cover the entire head. This is so because of the great speeds attained by the bikers and the rough terrain and trees that the biker might encounter. Recovery From Addictions Part 3

In Part 1 of this series of articles, I defined substance and process addictions, and described the four major false beliefs that underlie most addictions: 1. I can’t handle my pain. 2. I am unworthy and unlovable. 3. Others are my source of love. 4. I can have control over how others feel about me and treat me. Part 2 was about the first of these beliefs – learning how to handle pain. This article addresses the second and third beliefs – “I am unworthy and unlovable” and “Others are my source of love.” As small children, most of us decided that it was our fault when we didn’t get the love we needed. We decided that there must be something basically and intrinsically wrong with us that caused our parents or other caregivers to not love us or to abuse us. Since we were too small to give ourselves the love and attention we needed, we were naturally dependent upon others for our survival. Deciding it was our fault that we were not being loved gave us the feeling of control: we could change ourselves and become the “right” way in order to get the love we needed. We put aside our wonderful essence and developed our ego/wounded self to try to have control over getting love and avoiding pain. We went about trying to get the love we needed from others. The problem is we became addicted to trying to get love from others and never learned that we can, as adults, access love directly from our Source. Are you operating from the false belief that you can’t do this for yourself – that you can’t access the love you need directly from your Source? Do you believe that you are somehow defective and that the Source of love that is God will not come to fill you with love, peace and joy? Do you believe that you were born flawed and are therefore undeserving of receiving love from your Source? If you are operating from any of these false beliefs, then it is likely that you are still looking outside yourself for a dependable source of love. If you could see love, you would see that we live in a universe of love – that it is all around you as well as within you. Your feeling self – your inner child – needs that love to survive and thrive. It is everywhere, yet your Child may be starving for love. When you don’t know how to access the love that is always available to you, and you believe that it won’t be there for you anyway because you don’t deserve it, it is likely that you will turn to outside sources. You might use food as a substitute for love, or alcohol or drugs. You might use things – toys, clothes, objects – as substitutes for love. Or, you might think that another person needs to be your dependable source of love – that you need sex or attention or approval to fill the empty place within that needs love. You might sense that love exists within that other person, and you might believe that he or she has more ability to access love and bring it to you than you have. Many of the people I work with tell me that they cannot love themselves as well as someone else can, so they keep trying to get someone else to take responsibility for their feelings and needs. They keep trying to hand over their inner child to someone else, thus creating inner abandonment. The inner abandonment that comes from using substances, things, activities or people as your source of love is the real source of your pain. As long as you are making something or someone outside yourself your dependable source of love, you will be creating through your self abandonment the very pain you are trying so hard to avoid. As children, our parents were supposed to bring us love from our Source. As adults, we are supposed to be doing this for ourselves. But when our parents didn’t show us how to do it for ourselves because they were not doing it for themselves or for us, we never learned how access our true Source of love. Without this access, you will remain stuck in your addictions, trying to fill the inner emptiness that can only be filled with love from your Source. In the next section of this series, I will explore the ways you might be attempting to get others to fill you – coming from the false belief, “I can have control over how others feel about me and treat me,” and in the final section, I will show you how to access love from your Source.

Home Business How To Find One That Works

If you’ve done any inquiring about a viable home business, you’ve no doubt found your mailbox and email inbox overflowing with various offers. The numbers seem literally endless. A search for “home business” on Google alone will turn up about 2.44 billion (that’s “billion” with a “B”) hits! If you’ve spent any significant time trying out different offers, you’ve also discovered that nearly all of them, for one reason or another, just aren’t viable options. Many are outright scams. Envelope stuffing schemes are a prime example. Others are legitimate (sort of), but their claims are always overblown. They’re never as fast, as easy, or as profitable as you’re told they are. Many just plain don’t work! For example, you’re offered one or more “free” websites and told you can drive traffic using free online classifieds. Ever tried this one? Place all the free classifieds you want, but you won’t get a single order. You WILL however, get loads of spam. And the “free” websites costs you monthly hosting fees paid to (you guessed it!) the vendor from whom you bought the program. So who’s really making money here? You’ve probably figured it out by now. In almost every case, the only people who really make any money are those making the “work at home” offers. You’re left discouraged, frustrated, and poorer than when you started. But while the search can be very disheartening, it’s not hopeless. There ARE some legitimate home business opportunities, and there ARE ways to make money, even very good money, working from home. Now whatever you do, don’t just give up on your search. But you do need to develop a sense for what’s obviously over hyped and what’s worthy of further investigation. Continue your search while keeping the following guidelines in mind. 1. The “We do all the work for you!” deception. Anytime you see an offer that promises instant riches with no effort on your part, you’d be well advised to run the other way! You need to realize up front that absolutely nothing is going to make money for you unless you’re willing to put forth some effort. You’ve probably seen statements like “Everything is done for you” or “The lazy man’s way to becoming a millionaire.” So ask yourself “What do they need ME for anyway?” Would anybody set up a business and do all the hard work himself just to send his profits to a total stranger? Get real! 2. The “Start making BIG money immediately” deception. In some cases it’s possible to start making SOME money in a relatively short time span. You shouldn’t necessarily dismiss a business idea that promises quick startup. But “immediate riches” is just not realistic. You need to realize that growing any business to its full potential isn’t going to happen overnight. This is especially true if your financial situation is such that you’re forced to depend on your present job to pay the bills. Find a home business that you can start part time and grow, until your business produces enough income that you can get by without your current salary. At that point, you can quit your job and devote full time to your home business. 3. The “Make $50,475.00 (or some other unbelievable sum) the very first month!” deception. You need to have realistic expectations regarding just how much money you’re going to make. Are you expecting to become a millionaire in a home business? While it’s not impossible, don’t fall into the trap of jumping at an offer based on wishful thinking. You’d do well to give more serious consideration to those home business offers that make more realistic sounding claims. That’s not to say you can’t start and grow a business that COULD eventually make you wealthy. But again, it won’t happen tomorrow, next week, or even next month. At the risk of being redundant, it bears repeating that you should focus on offers that don’t promise immediate wealth with no effort. 4. The “This is completely FREE” deception. While it’s possible and not at all unusual to get free information online that’s both valuable and useful, don’t expect to launch a home business without spending any money. There will always be some startup costs. If you’re offered a free eBook, newsletter, course, software product, or whatever, go ahead and accept it if it interests you. Most such offers are legitimate, and are a great way to get some ideas and do some research into a home business. Just make sure you read all the fine print. If you subscribe for information and give your email address, look for a notice that reads something like “We will not share your name” and “You can unsubscribe at anytime.” Just about every legitimate marketer (and every smart one) will promise this, and faithfully adhere to his promise. 5. The deceptive “Money Back Guarantee” Almost every offer comes with a “money back guarantee” and most of them are legitimate. Every reputable business person knows that failure to honor his or her promise regarding a guarantee (or anything else for that matter) will inevitably result in failure of his business. Nevertheless, there are a few who engage in deceptive practices regarding their guarantee. Always take a close look at the wording. Is the guarantee conditional? For instance, does it read something to the effect of “Follow the instructions in our program for 3 full months, and if it doesn’t live up to our promises, just return it for a full refund!” The catch is that “Follow the instructions in our program” could well involve some kind of purchase or investment. For example, you might purchase a mail order program that instructs you to buy a minimum of 3 mailing lists and send 3 mailings. Let’s say that you give it a try and find out after the first mailing that your profits (if any) fall far short of your expenses and you’ve lost money, maybe even a LOT of money. But when you attempt to return the program for a refund, you’re told that you’re ineligible because “You didn’t follow the instructions in our program" which would have meant 2 additional mailings and the loss of even more money, maybe more than you paid for the program to begin with! Another sneaky and extremely unethical trick you may run across is a guarantee in which the “conditions” are never mentioned up front, but only revealed AFTER you’ve make a purchase. If you come across this type of scam, contact the vendor and remind him that you purchased his program expecting him to honor the guarantee as it was stated in the offer. Tell him you’re going to file a complaint with his local Better Business Bureau, another with the US Postal Service (if your program was sent by mail) or take other appropriate legal action. Give him a reasonable time frame to refund your purchase. Then if he still refuses TAKE ACTION and make good on your threats! You’ll be doing a favor not only for yourself, but for other consumers AND for all the honest business people everywhere. In summary, make sure there IS a guarantee, that it’s unconditional, and don’t let the vendor get away with adding “conditions” after the fact. 6. Follow your passion. You’d be making a huge mistake selecting a home business that doesn’t take into account your personal interests. No matter how realistic, how profitable, how easy, or how quickly you can start it up, you’re unlikely to be successful in any home business if you’re doing something you just don’t enjoy. The reason? As stated above, success will demand both your time and effort. But to a large extent, how MUCH time and how MUCH effort you’re putting forth is a matter of perception. Everyone knows how quickly time passes when you’re having fun, and how slowly when you’re doing something you consider drudgery. The same is true of effort. Work just doesn’t seem as much like work when you’re task is something you like doing. If your home business is something that doesn’t really interest you, the demands on your time and energy will sooner or later seem unbearable. Your enthusiasm will falter, and with it, your productivity. Even if you encounter some short term success, your waning eagerness will eventually spell doom for your business. It’s the nature of us humans to tend to believe those who tell us what we most want to hear, whether they be politicians, marketers, or whoever. Anytime you’re presented with an attractive offer, ask yourself “Is this really believable based on the offer itself?” To put it another way, try and imagine you were someone else who had no interest in starting your own home business. Would you find the offer believable enough to suggest it to someone who did? In conclusion, when determining whether to pursue any home business offer, examine critically not only the offer itself, but your own emotional involvement as well! Try to look at it dispassionately and ask yourself “Does it really sound realistic, or do I just want it to?” And remember that you have literally billions of offers from which to pick, so you can well afford to pass on any that don’t fit your interest, or that make outrageous claims that are most certainly unrealistic! A Disney Cruise The Perfect Compromise

Many parents of small children find that their idea of a dream holiday differs somewhat from that of the children. For kids from tiny babies up to teenagers, the world of Disney holds an appeal that is universal. While this is great for the kids, and the parents would have a great time too, many adults would prefer to go on a relaxing cruise vacation. The luxury and opulence of this lifestyle appeals to many but when sacrifices are to be made, it is the parents who usually end up making them. Disney, being the clever company that they are, have managed to provide both parents and children with their holiday of their dreams, combining the magical world of Disney characters with a cruise holiday. These Disney cruises offer families the best of both worlds and ensure that all of the members of the family have a holiday never to forget. The Disney Cruises offer breaks from 3 to 7 nights in duration. These include a variety of off shore and on shore options and allow you to choose the cruise which is truly right for your family. The shorter 3 or 4 night cruises take in the Bahamas and call into port at Nassau and Disney’s own private island, Castaway Cay. The longer cruises of 7 nights offer you the choice of eastern or Western Caribbean seas and islands but whichever you choose you can be confident that your views will be breathtaking and that you are almost certain to experience the beautiful sunshine that this part of the world is famous for. In between the island exploring that these cruises offer you, you will be aboard a truly spectacular cruise liner. There is no need to worry about what you will do to occupy your time when sailing as there is a whole host of activities available for all the family. Activity groups are provided for children through to teenagers, and these groups are divided into ages so that you can be sure the activities on offer will stimulate and entertain your child, whatever their age. Disney cruises even offer parents their own club which is just for adults, allowing them to spend some quality time away from the children whilst remaining confident in the knowledge that they are being cared for by fully qualified staff. Activities available just for the adults include a spa and salon, nightclub and adult only restaurant. Family time is also catered for onboard the cruise liner. Live entertainment is provided daily, beginning with a Welcome Aboard show and ending your cruise with a Magical Farewell. In between you can be sure to be introduced to all of your favorite Disney characters and songs in shows which live up to and exceed the reputation Disney has for superb live entertainment. The only problem you will have when it comes to food is deciding which restaurant to eat in. Catering for all tastes and palates, the cruises offer an exciting variety of menus and world cuisine. This gives everyone a real opportunity to try something new and the exceptional chefs on board will ensure that it is all prepared to the highest standard. Only the finest ingredients are selected for every dish, as you would expect from Disney. With so much to see and do on a Disney cruise, you will have very little time to spend in your room and when you return there you will want to fall straight to sleep so that you can be up and ready for your adventure the next day. However, you can rest assured that the same attention to detail is found in the rooms as it is everywhere else on the cruise. When booking, you can select the type of room you require and you can be certain that it will exceed your expectations.

    The Elegance Of Hardwood Floors

People always dream of owning their own home someday. While dreaming about their future homes, they also start to design their homes and look for materials that would be best given their lifestyle, their budget and their preferences. Building a home or even just renovating an old house is a task that requires a large amount of creativity, planning and patience. The moment you have decided on the materials to be used and have actually implemented them, and then there is no turning back. Of course, you can always have it redone but it will mean wasted time and additional expenses, not to mention the damage that may result from said construction work. One part of the house which requires careful planning and research is the flooring because floors are the most abused portions of the house. People literally step on them, place heavy equipment on them and do whatever it is they usually do with floors. When choosing floors, homeowners should make sure that they take into consideration the quality of their flooring material, the possible abuse that the floor has to go through and the length of time they are going to b e using that floor. One of the perfect choices for flooring material is wood, particularly hardwood like maple or oak or even cherry. American hardwoods are in abundance and they provide that elegant touch to every home. Many Americans are opting for hardwoods, even for their kitchen floors, because once they get tired of it they can easily just sand it and change its appearance. However, you should only resort to sanding once you have decided to replace your wooden floors as this may damage them. Other flooring materials require a lot of hard work and expense before they can be replaced. When using wooded materials on kitchen floors, the best choice is a urethane finish. Most people avoid wood on their kitchen floors because it can be damaged with constant water spills. However, they can avoid this by being creative and placing beautiful rugs in areas that are where water spills usually occur. Hardwoods are particularly attractive on the floor of your living rooms and even the bedrooms. Wood produces a feeling of nostalgia and gives a feeling that the house has been lived in. Wooden flooring, when done properly, can actually give elegance to an otherwise simple house. It can easily be polished to give that new and shiny effect. Once you have chosen hardwood as your house flooring, you should make it a point to install the wooden flooring when the construction is nearly completed. This will avoid ugly marks on the wood due to construction works, as well as lessen moisture problems.

Does Internet Security Software Really Work

: In the recent years there has been many Internet securtity tools to hit the consumer market that claim to be providing excellent protection against online threats such as phishing sites, Trojan horses and viruses. Amongst Internet security packages there are Norton Internet Security, Webroot Spy Sweeper, McAfee Antivirus and many more. Are those products really so efficient in fighting threats and safeguarding our personal information from being stolen? With the introduction of the Norton Internet Security 2007 that comes with a new interface and a lower price the private user may expect they get a comprehensive online protection and personal information safety whilst banking or shopping online. These Internet security tools, and Norton Internet Security in particular, come with a bunch of smart features that can give you an additional protection against even unknown, or unrecognized threats by using behavior monitoring algorithms. But, many average users who never stray far from mainstream Web sites will find most of features of the internet security software available today unnecessary it's like purchasing a BMW to drive it only to church on Sundays. For example McAfee internet security tools still feel heavy and clumsy even if its new version, failing to find the happy medium between features, ease of use and performance. On top of that, many applications do not play well with other security software you might already have installed on your PC. These are third party anti virus, antispyware and anti adware software you purchased from other vendors that apps that may have been serving you well so far and there's no reason why you should stop using them. Therefore, I recommend to have a look at the features first, before any purchasing decision is made – if you decide you don't need a BMW to drive to church once a week, a lighter, much more user friendly internet security software, such as ZoneAlarm Internet Security 7, may be a better choice. Today, there are a few types of risks that may affect your PC's security while you surf the Web and install downloaded software: viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, worms and rootkits. Thes programs can install on your computer when you download software from untrusted sources or visit booby trapped websites often referred as to phishing sites. On top of that, malware often spreads itself by sending bogus e mails to everyone in your address book. But not only pirate copies of software can contain dangerous code viruses often come from unsuspecting sources; even some Sony music CDs inadvertently inflicted viruses. All antivirus software packages available today is especially to deal with these threats by scanning downloaded files, running applications, scanning incoming e mails, attachments and some of them can even scan instant messages blocking and deleting incoming malware. Security researchers say antivirus software has become essential, but it's no longer enough because you come across dangerous sites every day you surf the Web that can use smart techniques to launch an attack on your PC. Some of the malicious software is designed to steal sensitive information such as login credentials, passwords, personal information and even credit card numbers. Hackers keep inventing new ways of stealing information penetrating your computer or hijacking keystrokes you type while you shop or bank online. While online identity theft has become a growing problem, protecting your computer from these kind of threats is essential. Any chunk of information you keep on your computer or send over the Internet may be to cybercriminals. This is why you need strong Internet security protection – an anti virus, a firewall and an anti spyware software. Research show, that most security and privacy threats come from adware, spyware and phishing. Security engineers admit these types of threats are amongst the fastest growing threats to PC and personal security on the Web today. The major problem is that these applications are tiny programs that can be transported over the Internet and installed on the victim's computer in seconds and can not be detected without a proper anti malware program working in the background. Some spyware and adware can be moderately not harmful, gathering information about what sites you visit or what you do while you work on the PC, however, there are still very dangerous spyware out there that can be used for example to connect your computer to a world wide network of infected machines – a botnet – that cybercriminals often use to launch DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks. An article called "State of the net 2006," issued in the September 2006 by Consumer Reports cites alarming statistics showing the damage caused by viruses, spywae and advare to computers owned by individuals and businesses. The magazine reports that nearly a million people replaced their computers in the past six months because of spyware infections. Canadian Mortgage Rates

In today’s market, renters and even homeowners in Canada are seized by the desire to save enough funds for down payments. The reason is simple. Canadian mortgage rates are going down and real estate prices are in full swing. To cover the heavy demand for more mortgages, lenders have adapted flexible techniques, like lowering down their Canadian mortgage rates and coming up with new products all the time. A traditional Canadian mortgage rate would be a loan requiring the buyer to put down 20 per cent of the property’s value in cash. Such a Canadian mortgage rate requires a big amount of money but the benefits are great. Look around for low Canadian mortgage rates Shopping around the Canadian mortgage rate market can cut down your down payment costs. With a little research, buyers can even access the posted Canadian mortgage rates and interest rates of large banks and get them for less, about one percentage point or sometimes more. For instance, the Canadian brokering company in Montreal, Multi Prets Hypotheques is currently offering their customers a five year Canadian mortgage rate of 5.1 per cent. This is low compared to other banks posted Canadian mortgage rate of 6.5 per cent. This allows consumers to save thousands of dollars in Canadian mortgage rates and interest rates alone over the life of their loan. Lower down Canadian mortgage rate with CMHC loans Another way to lower down Canadian mortgage rates and minimize the amount of cash you put down is to get a Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) insured mortgage. A CMHC insured mortgage can reduce the Canadian mortgage rate and down payment to 5 per cent. That Canadian mortgage rate is 20 per cent lower than traditional mortgage loans. With a CMHC insured mortgage, you get a loan that is like most other loans except that you get insurance from CMHC on the additional loan amount, which is the difference between the traditional 25 per cent Canadian mortgage rate and the actual payment you put down. Getting a CMHC insurance involves only a one time payment with Canadian mortgage rates varying between 1 per cent and 3.25 per cent of the total loan, depending on the amount of cash put down. Low Canadian mortgage rates with non standard mortgages Reducing your Canadian mortgage rate can also be achieved by opting for non standard mortgages. Aggressive financial market players like Toronto’s Xceed Mortgage Corporation offer incredibly low Canadian mortgage rates and minimum down payments. Getting a non standard mortgage is perfect for people who have large earning powers but few capital resources. Because they have few assets to back them up, lenders might up their Canadian mortgage rates when they apply for loans. For instance, an entrepreneur whose assets are mainly invested in her business wants to apply for a loan. Her chances of a getting a low Canadian mortgage rate for a traditional loan is less compared to getting a reduced Canadian mortgage rate from a non standard mortgage. Lenders of non standard loans will cover the entire purchase price of your house, leaving you to save a lot on high Canadian mortgage rates and a large down payment. However, lenders will only provide financial backing if your total monthly financial commitments (debt, interest, taxes, etc.) are no higher than 40 per cent of your monthly income.
