    Magnetic Bumper Stickers 03

    #1

We all have something to say, right? I mean come on; there is not a single soul on this green earth who doesn't want to voice something. I know there are plenty of things that I would like to say. Granted I don't just blurt them all out in the faces of others. This could result in a number of altercations. Not to mention jail time.

Oh well; no worries. There are ways of getting my messages across.

How about the almighty bumper sticker for example? This is an excellent way to advertise your thoughts and opinions.

Let the world read your feelings right off the back of your ride. Hey, and don't worry about getting that darn thing off. We all know that opinions, viewpoints, and ideas change as we age. This is why God created magnetic bumper stickers. If you no longer agree with it, just peel it right back off. There are so many things I can think to put on magnetic bumper stickers. "Bite Me!" is a great one, but I'm sure it's been taken. I always like the "My other car is a Porsche" one. That never gets old. And the junkier your vehicle is, the more you need that bumper sticker. Am I right here or am I right? We all want people to know we have a sports car sitting back home in the garage. Especially the ladies. Now, one great thing about the bumper sticker phenomenon is that it's changed a bit. Now days you can have magnetic bumper stickers made just the way you want them. You don't have to settle for some of the corny ones you see one other vehicles. These are often redundant and lame. Make up your own phrases and voice your own spiels. It's called freedom of speech and magnetic bumper stickers can help you with it. Have you ever encountered a bumper sticker that irked you a little? I can't say that I have. However, I was riding with my father to a coffee shop when we spotted one that bothered him immensely. It read "Bush Sucks!" Now, that has got to be customized, because I've never encountered magnetic bumper stickers with that phrase on them. Regardless, it is still a person's right to slap it on their bumper and cruise around. Get a few customized magnetic bumper stickers for your car.

    Take Off Your Bumper Stickers

    #1

You may have put in that bumper sticker on your vehicle for various reasons. You may have simply liked the message that the sticker told the world. Another reason could be that you just would not like to hurt your son’s feelings when he presented you with that “I Love My Dad” bumper sticker on Fathers’ Day. Or simply because you just were part of that organization whose campaign was to “Save The Whales”. No matter what the reason for putting that bumper sticker on your car, it seems like after such a period of time, the message you have stuck on your car seems to have faded already – maybe both literally and figuratively. You may not be supporting such a campaign at present anymore. Or maybe, people may not be able to decipher just what your bumper sticker said. Or what it actually tried to say in the first place. It has simply worn off that it just looks like a big piece of paper plastered on your car and you just want to take that off. You can take off that faded bumper sticker by scraping it off the glass. To do this, you may use a razor blade. But make sure that you use a razor blade only if the bumper sticker has been placed on a window. However, if the sticker has been placed on a bumper, you can try to peel it off first with your fingers. Remember, there are rubber bumper stickers and this kind is easy to peel. However, if you try to peel them off and it does not come off, you can use water. Have a basin filled with boiling hot water. You should protect your hands with some rubber gloves while you do this. Also have a dip rag or a sponge which you would be wetting on the water. Then, press this against the bumper sticker for around ten minutes or so. After that, you can use a plastic spatula or putty knife to peel away the sticker. Make sure that you do this slowly to avoid scratching or chipping your car’s paint job.

Taking Off The Sticky Bumper Sticker

    #1

Remember that bumper sticker you wholeheartedly stuck on your car’s bumper? You know, that one which stated your message blatantly out to the public. You were so emotional about that topic that you wanted the whole world to know what was screaming in your mind. The bumper sticker that you used surely told it all and it did all the work for you. Bumper stickers are stickers that hold a message. It can be attached to the bumper of your car however some people would even attach it on the windows or even on the windshield itself. Oftentimes, these bumper stickers are made of vinyl. When new, these bumper stickers could shout out to the world their message. But through time and through various weather conditions, the sticker’s message could get faded until it is just another black piece of vinyl stuck to your car. One way of removing such stickers is to use penetrating oil. However, there are more easy ways of removing them without harming your bumper or whatever part of your vehicle it is stuck on. Unless you would to replace the auto parts with the bumper sticker with genuine Volvo 960 parts, you can simply spray the sticker with lubricant. Oil could also do. Apply the lubricant and let it soak through for a couple of minutes. Then try to peel it off. If this trick does not work, you can try using a blow dryer. This would lessen the hold of the adhesive of the sticker. From a corner of the sticker, continue to apply heat from the blow dryer and start peeling that corner off. You can use a rubber or plastic spatula or knife. Do not use metal or you can find scratches on the area. Doing this would result to a sticker free bumper or window or windshield. Wipe away any remains of the sticker with a rag.

    Bumper Cars 24

    #1

Bumper Cars When I first started going to amusement parks, I was not old enough to ride on the roller coasters that caught my eye, but I was allowed to get on the bumper cars that were made for kids my size. I always had a ton of fun on them, and I still look forward to riding them now when I visit an amusement park with my husband and daughter. Though these rides have been around forever, they are still by far one of the most popular rides at any park. I have yet to let my daughter get on bumper cars because she is far too young. My husband wanted to take her on them last year, but I had visions of whiplash in my mind, and I told him we should wait a few years. She was ok with this, though my husband pouted for a little while. I told him he could go on the bumper cars by himself if he wanted to and I would go take her to find something that was more her age. He perked up after that, and I guess that showed me that even when we age we have to have fun when it is presented to us. You can find old and new bumper cars today when you visit amusement parks and traveling fairs or carnivals. I personally love the old fashioned kind where the top of the car has a metal strip that runs across the ceiling powering each of the individual bumper cars. I actually don’t know if there is a more modern type, though it seems to me that someone told me there is. If there is, I have yet to find them yet. If you love the bumper cars, you may be able to take a car home with you. Don’t get all excited, this is something that may happen once in a lifetime. If a small amusement park near you is going out of business, they may sell off some of the parts of their rides to make money to pay off debts. This happens most often with carousel animals, but it is not unheard of to have other parts of rides such as the bumper cars available as well. If you hear of something like this going on, make sure you jump at the chance, because it is not likely to come along again any time soon.

Horse Trailer Buyer Tips Gooseneck Vs Bumper Pull

    #1

When choosing a horse trailer, there are many features to consider. One important feature is whether the horse trailer will have a gooseneck or bumper pull design. There are several reasons you might benefit from either design. Let's compare these two features to see which will work best for your needs. Bumper Pull Horse Trailers Advantages and Disadvantages Bumper pull trailers, also called tag along trailers, are horse trailers that attach to a hitch on the hauling vehicle. The trailer "tags along" behind the hauling vehicle and does not become a part of the overall vehicle. There are five major advantages of bumper pull horse trailers. One, they usually cost less than a gooseneck trailer. Two, it's not necessary to use a pickup truck for hauling the trailer, and more people can haul this type of trailer with their current vehicle. Three, normal turns are often easier because the tag along will follow the path of your tow vehicle. Four, you won't need as much storage space for the trailer as you would for a gooseneck trailer. Five, the trailer doesn't have to be classified as a "commercial" vehicle for licensing purposes because the weight of both the trailer and tow vehicle is usually less than 10,001 pounds. There are several disadvantages as well. Bumper pull trailers do not offer as much room for the dressing/tack room. Some bumper pull trailers might not be sufficient for hauling more than two horses due to the type of hitch required for the weight of the trailer. Also, bumper pull trailers tend to fishtail on curvy roads, which can be dangerous and scary. Gooseneck Horse Trailers Advantages and Disadvantages Gooseneck trailers differ from bumper pull trailers in their hitch style. The gooseneck is attached within the hauling truck's bed with a ball and coupler mating. The gooseneck trailer offers several benefits. One, it doesn't sway or fishtail like a bumper trailer tends to do, and towing is more stable. Two, it provides more room for living quarters, which can be convenient for camping and long trips. Three, the gooseneck is easier to back up to and align with the ball while hitching it to your hauling vehicle. You can see it clearly from the rear window. Four, the gooseneck design is more secure without worry of the load coming unhitched while traveling on the highway. There are also a few disadvantages. Gooseneck trailers are more expensive and are usually bigger so they must be towed with a truck that is able to handle it. The hitching system is also more expensive for a gooseneck setup. While hitching the trailer, you must climb into the bed of the truck to complete the process. Also, you will have to remove your camper top (if you have one) from the truck to haul a gooseneck trailer. Find the Right Horse Trailer Whether considering a bumper pull or gooseneck trailer, you can go online to check out various designs of each. If you're on a tight budget, you might consider searching through used horse trailers to find a bargain. A popular brand name to start with is Sundowner horse trailers. You might also search using keywords related to your state or local area. For instance, if you live in Tennessee, you might type in "horse trailers in Tennessee" or Sundowner of Tennessee." Some horse owners prefer bumper pull trailers while others absolutely love the gooseneck style. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each design before making a purchase.

Your Auto Warranty What To Look For

    #1

When deciding which car to buy, make sure you check the auto warranty that comes with the vehicle. In this article we will help you sort through all the auto warranty related issues. After all, not every new car warranty is created equally. Some will cover all the non wear items on the car up to only three years or 36,000 miles. Others will cover repairs all the way up to 10 years or 100,000 miles. The strength of the coverage that is included will help you decide whether to buy an extended auto warranty. It's important to understand the different parts of an auto warranty as it is good to know the difference between a new car warranty and an extended auto warranty. A typical new car warranty has two parts: the "bumper to bumper" warranty, which covers everything except the "wear" items such as brakes and tires; and the power train warranty that covers all the parts that make the car move, such as the engine and transmission. Bumper to Bumper Few extended vehicle warranty plans cover absolutely everything on a vehicle. Read the warranty contract and find out exactly what is and what is not covered. If the contract says it covers everything except for X, Y, and Z; that's a lot more coverage than a contract which lists 10 or 20 items which are covered. Keep in mind your own history with vehicles and what repair/maintenance you expect to have in the next few years to your car. Wear and Tear Many extended vehicle warranty plans cover parts that break, just as they cover those that wear out. Once again, read the contract to understand the differences and how they may affect your final cost. An extended auto warranty can be purchased to prolong the coverage of the bumper to bumper warranty. Most people are familiar with the extended warranty that is sold at dealerships. This is sometimes called a "factory warranty" because factory trained technicians perform the required work on the car. There are also "third party" warranties, which can save consumers money but are generally less convenient to use. Many third party warranties require out of pocket payment for repairs before reimbursement. Weigh all these factors carefully before you make your choice. By looking carefully at your auto warranty before you buy, you will save yourself much potential future problems.

    Ford Stickers 36

    #1

It seems like stickers are a part of everyone’s life no matter how old they might be. Little kids love stickers. Adults use stickers for a variety of reasons – some work related, some for their own enjoyment. Even most stamps are more like stickers now – all you have to do is peel and stick.

That’s why it’s no surprise that bumper stickers are so popular. They give car owners a way of telling the world what the driver likes or who or what the driver supports.

Political bumper stickers are also huge. Sports stickers of one kind or another are also easily spotted while driving down the road. And, of course, stickers supporting a brand of car are also popular and usually quite creative.

Ford stickers are one example of this. There are endless amounts of stickers for children to collect. There are stickers associated with just about every child’s television show that exists. There are stickers of Dora the Explorer, Diego, Dragon Tales, Scooby Doo, the Backyardigans, and the list goes on and on. Children love to take the stickers and apply them wherever they possibly can. Unfortunately this sometimes results in stickers being stuck to car windows and bedroom walls.

Luckily, adults know where they are supposed to apply their Ford stickers. The most common place to apply a Ford sticker is either on the back window of the vehicle or on the back bumper.

These Ford stickers let everyone know that the driver supports Ford vehicles. Usually the saying or the drawing is witty and creative.

(However, in the last few years a drawing has begun to be overused by all vehicle companies and that particular sticker should be outlawed!) Anyway, the Ford stickers are a great way to show support for your Ford vehicle while also putting a smile on people’s faces while they are driving. When you think about it, many of the things adults do mirror what we did as children.

We aren’t that much different, especially men. Men still like to play games whether it is on the computer or on a gaming system, and men still like to stick stickers. That’s why Ford stickers are perfect. The stickers are usually placed on a Ford vehicle. The sticker shows that the owner is proud to be a Ford vehicle owner and wants to show his / her pride through the use of stickers usually being applied to the back bumper or the back window of the vehicle.

Helpful Tips For Buying A Used Car

    #1

Each year hundreds of thousands of used cars change hands. Some deals are great buys; others are not so good. Follow these tips for buying a used car to help you get the best value for your money. It is always better to find out what’s wrong with a used car before you buy it rather than after you own it. Carfax vehicle history reports are a great way to get this information. Carfax collects information from around 5,000 different sources. But, remember the report is only as good as the information reported. If the car is in an accident but the accident is not reported, the information isn’t going to be in Carfax. That’s why you still should have the vehicle inspected before purchasing it. A mechanical inspection is the surest way to find obvious problems with the vehicle. The mechanic will easily be able to tell if there are leaks, corrosion, frame damage, hidden damage, brake or suspension problems, engine problems, and other obvious mechanical issues. The mechanics report however, will not tell you anything about the history of the car such as whether it has been in an accident. Always take the car for a test drive. Make sure you don’t just drive it on city roads. Take it out on the highway and get up to highway speeds to make sure you like the ride, how quiet the car runs, steering, and other elements like how good your visibility is and blind spots. Decide whether you are comfortable driving the car. If you aren’t comfortable, then it’s not the car for you. You can save a great deal of money on your used car by shopping around for good financing. Some lending institutes offer better rates than others. There are many institutes that offer a hassle free online service that’s as simple as filling out an online application. Once your financing is approved, they will send you the check to take to the dealer. If you have the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty for your car, it can be a good investment. An extended warranty can protect you from breakdowns and save your pocketbook from some serious strain. There are two types of coverage; bumper to bumper and powertrain. Bumper to bumper covers almost everything, while a powertrain warranty covers major breakdowns like engine and transmission. The cost between the two types of coverage can be significant, but depending on the age of the car and type of car bumper to bumper coverage can be worth the extra money. There are several good website resources for finding out what a vehicle is worth. You can search by category, make, model, and price. If you do an Internet search for “used vehicle prices,” you’ll find several good resources. If you can’t find the car you want locally, buying a car online is another option. Just do your research to make sure the dealer is reputable. It’s always a good idea to only put a deposit down and then pay the balance once you’ve inspected the car and it meets your expectations. These tips for buying a used car will keep you stress free and help you make the best buy possible.

    How Do You Parallel Park

    #1

Most drivers would attest that parallel parking is possibly one of the hardest parts that they would have to learn in driving. Even experienced drivers would even share that this kind of move actually still brings some sweat out. On the other hand, automobile experts suggest that if you would really like to do parallel parking with ease, it is best if you practice much. By doing so, you become used to the whole drill and everything comes as second nature to you. Keeping your mind and concentration on the whole task ahead would help you out do parallel parking. Also, it is important that you are calm and collected as to go through the whole experience. Now, to parallel park, you should use your turn signal. This would indicate exactly the direction of the parking spot or area that you are intending to park on. On the other hand, if the space is not yet vacant but you notice that the car occupying that spot is about to leave, wait behind the spot so that you can park there. When the spot is already vacant, pull ahead of it. Pull up until you have actually found your car beside the car parked in front of the space you are planning on occupying. Make sure that your rear bumper should be even with that other car’s rear bumper. You should have about two feet of road between your car and the car you pulled up beside. Start putting your car in reverse and begin backing up slowly. As soon as you get the start moving, turn the steering wheel as far as it will go towards the curb. Then, back slowly into the space. When you see that the back of your car’s front door is already even with the rear bumper of the car beside you, you should start turning the wheel away from the curb. Keep on turning the wheel away from the curb while backing slowly into the space. Then, straighten out the wheel. You should pull forward or back into the space. You should do this to actually center your car between the cars in front of you and behind you. Remember that your car should be around six to eight inches from the curb when you are already parked on the spot you chose.

Slot Car Racing High Speed Thrills

    #1

The cars are bumper to bumper into the final lap. It's too close to call ... and the Dodge Charger Daytona takes the checkered flag just ahead of the Plymouth Superbird! No, that wasn't the call from the latest televised race. It's the kind of heart pounding racing thrills that you and your friends could be enjoying with motorsports for the home. Slot car racing has been around since the mid 50s, when enthusiasts "drove" their cars on model train tracks. In the 1960s, slot car racing events were featured on television shows such as "Mike Douglas," "Johnny Carson" and "Steve Allen." And Elvis loved slot cars so much that he had an entire room at Graceland devoted to the hobby. Elvis, however, never had anything like the latest slot cars from Carrera. The sport has come a long way since the days of The King of Rock 'n' Roll. Today, Carrera's "Evolution Pro X" sets another high tech benchmark with a state of the art digital system in 1:32 scale. Unlike analog systems, by fitting a micro processor to each car and including the special digital power control unit and track sections within the layout, the new digital system lets you run multiple cars on the same track for a more realistic racing experience than Elvis ever could have imagined. The wide lane changing sections let you pass at top speed with bumper to bumper thrills down the back stretch, plus raw lane change section activation as you maneuver for position, just like professional race car drivers. The Pro X system features the latest models from Ferrari and Mercedes as well as classics like the Dodge Charger Daytona. Carrera also offers the "Exclusiv" line with cars such as the Chevrolet Corvette C6R and 1:24 scale tracks, as well as "Carrera Go!!!" in 1:43 scale featuring Spider Man and the Fantastic Four sets for younger slot car enthusiasts. Long popular in Europe, slot car racing is gaining momentum in the U. S. as Americans from car aficionados to hobbyists to collectors and "kids" of all ages rediscover the thrill of this challenging and adrenaline pumping hobby that's fun for the entire family.

HOW TO MAKE BIG DOLLARS WITH BUMPER STICKERS This is the kind of business that might grow out of a conversation over a couple of beers at your favorite tavern. Imagine for a moment this scenario: Someone suggests that the owner should sponsor a summer picnic or softball game. The question then comes up as how to advertise it, and someone suggests bumper stickers. And the basics of a very lucrative business are set in motion. As you consider this idea for a source of income, your first decision will be whether to first line up the people willing to "wear" the bumper stickers on their cars, or the business owners who will want to advertise in this manner. A good friend of ours started such a business several years ago, and he found it easier to sell the business owner by telling him that 100 to 200 people were all set and willing to wear his bumper sticker advertisement, because such people were known to be in the area. All this boils down to a recommendation that you talk to your friends, neighbors and co workers first. Get as many of them as you can to agree to "wear" a bumper sticker. You might offer to pay $10 for three months, or $5 for six weeks. With inducement of money just to put a bumper sticker on their cars or trucks, you won't have too many turndowns. One person we know runs an ad in his weekly shopper newspaper, advertising the fact that he pays money just for "wearing" a bumper sticker. And of course, don't overlook the pulling power of all the bulletin boards in your area. This is an ideal business for constant free publicity writeups in your local newspapers, plus interviews on radio and TV talk shows. At first, you'll want as many people as possible to "wear" bumper sticker ads. What you'll want to stress in any publicity write ups or media interviews is the fact that you've got the "vehicles for exposure" lined up and organized so that any potential advertiser needs only to give you a call, and you can launch his advertising program immediately. Next, you check w a number of printers and determine the cost to to have bumper stickers made to order. Generally, you should be able to get a thousand bumper stickers for $100 or less. Whatever the cost, this initial outlay should be absorbed by your charge to the advertiser. So let's suppose you've got 100 people lined up to "wear" one of these bumper stickers on their cars for six weeks. Figure the bumper stickers will cost $100. Now, the problem of what to charge the advertiser. You should always charge on a "per car" basis, i. e., on a basis of circulation, as newspapers do. So, you charge $5 per car per week, with 100 cars. This comes out to $500 per week, or $3,000 total for six weeks, from the advertiser. Subtract $100 for getting the bumper stickers made, add $500 as payment for the cars "wearing" the bumper stickers, and you would end up with a profit picture of $2,400 for those six weeks. In the beginning, you should be the one calling potential advertisers and doing all the selling. Once you've got your first program organized and running smoothly, your next step is a natural multiplication of your efforts. Run an ad in your local paper for commission sales people. Brief them on the basics and get them out on the street selling advertisers for you. The best time to launch a business of this kind is during the fair weather seasons, or just in advance of general political elections in your area. Once established, however, the business can, and should sustain itself year round. The selling "keys" to this kind of advertising are basically the same as those enumerated for "word of mouth" advertising. You've got people all over town spreading the word talking about the advertiser. And these people are saturating the area with the advertiser's name and message wherever they go. It's easy! It's simple! and it works! Compared with other, more traditional advertising methods, bumper stickers advertising is very low in cost. One of the tricks of the trade is in using short, snappy, even humorous slogans or telegram styled messages. For instance: Anderson's Cafe 6th and Main That's where I'm going How about you? Another idea is to make the lettering on the bumper stickers luminous to the headlights of the cars following. Most important, be sure to make your lettering easy to read, and the message easy to comprehend at one glance. Actually, you could start at the front of the yellow pages in your phone book and probably never run out of places ready to be sold on your plan of bumper sticker advertising. Some of the more traditional places to sell this kind of advertising include: Taverns Pizza Houses Physical Fitness Clubs Political Campaigns Radio & TV Station Movie Theaters Travel Agencies Trade Schools Auto Repair Shops Insurance Companies Flea Markets Newspapers Appliance Repair Sporting Goods Special Local Events The important thing is to always be creative in your selling efforts. Always show the prospect how his business can grow from advertising in this manner, you propose, and how your method is more positive, more responsive, and lower in cost than the more traditional advertising. Remember, too, the more clever or "catchy" the message on the bumper sticker, the more it will make people talk and respond. For ideas along these lines, go back to the yellow pages of your telephone book and read all those short, crispy one liners. Remember also that advertising is a form of "brainwashing" and the more people see the message the stronger that message is imprinted in their minds. Therefore, when they need or are in the market for the services or product offered by the advertiser, they'll quickly refer to the strongest, easiest to recall advertising message in their minds. And that, of course, means that if the prospect sees a specific advertising message on the bumpers of the cars in front of him day after day, when he's ready to buy, that particular advertiser will be the one he will patronize. You can expand this business to include magnetic sign on the sides of cars, saddle back signs on the back of cars, and even signs in the yards in residential neighborhoods. As I've explained in this report, line up your "method of exposure," determine your costs and then go after the advertisers. It can be a very easy way to achieve real wealth and independence for yourself!

6 Precautions You Should Take When Using An Atv Winch

    #1

Winches play a very significant role while using ATVs. They have become a necessity for the ATV enthusiasts. They are commonly used in ATVs, trucks and trailers. The sturdiness and type of the winch depends upon the requirement of the user as there are types of winches that can be used for different purposes. a ATV's winches: ATV winches have proved to be life saving equipments for the ATV enthusiasts as they have helped a lot in taking them out from the dangerous circumstances like getting into deep mud hole while navigating. In the latest models of ATVs, the winch can be mounted on the front or on the rear end of the ATV and can be shifted from front to back depending upon the requirement. There is a wide range of ATV winches in terms of their strength, but its selection depends upon the functioning and size of the ATV. It is always recommended to the ATV enthusiasts to possess ATV winches in their ATVs. b Truck's winches: The tow trucks were used to possess the winches in the past but in the present scenario, the winches are present in three quarter and in one ton trucks. The winches that were used earlier were the hand cranked winches whereas the winches which are used now a days are electric winches. The functioning of these electric winches is remote controlled and are hooked to the battery of the truck. They have been proved very helpful in the dangerous situations like slipping and sliding of the trucks on uneven lands. The large trucks like F 350 require a strong winch and it approximately costs around 12,000 pounds. c The winches are also present in the trailers that can be either electronic or hand cranked. These trailer winches are commonly found on most of the boat trailers. In the past decades, the hand cranked trailer winch was used in boats to pull it onto the trailer in order to secure it into its place. But with development of latest technology, the trailer winches function under the influence of electric current and are present in wide range in terms of strength. These electric winches pull the boat onto the trailer by just pushing up a single button which is an easy and comfort method of loading and unloading the boats as compared to the use of hand cranked winches. How to Mount a Winch You should always ensure that the winch is mounted perfectly either on an ATV or on a trailer. In order to have perfect mounting, it is always recommended to have a winch bumper as it can be mounted on the bumper of the truck or even can replace it. In this way, the winch will get security against theft or any damage after being fitted inside the winch bumper.
