    How Stress Affects Your Health

In our high powered world of technology we find our lives going at such a rapid pace that things seem to be spinning out of control. This and normal everyday problems with family and money contribute to a build up of stress. This is one of the main reasons that we do not enjoy the good health we deserve. Sometimes we are not even aware of the problem until a crisis occurs in our lives, by that time considerable damage can have occurred and it is difficult to turn our lives around onto the right path. Signs of stress: Your body has ways of showing stress and it is important to be aware of them: • First you may be experiencing tension in your muscles, especially your neck and back • Fidgeting, you need to hold something with your hands (cigarettes, twirling pencils etc) • You just have difficulty in relaxing • Depression. We have all experienced aches and pains and are not sure why. This is often one of the first signs of stress affecting your body. Fidgeting and restlessness are very common in people with tension and stress. Depression is a common disorder that if left unchecked can lead to serious mental illness. It is very important to catch these initial symptoms of stress as early as possible, before they develop into more serious problems. Your body’s reaction to stress: • High blood pressure • Lack of concentration • Irregular breathing • Strain on your heart All these reactions to stress can turn into life threatening problems. High blood pressure is a well known precursor of more serious problems like strokes and aneurisms. Lack of concentration can cause problems while driving or operating industrial machinery. Irregular breathing can develop into Asthma. Any strain on your heart is bad and can lead to serious consequences and even death. Here are some pointers to cut down stress: • Organize your time • Spend some time away from all your worries and cares find time to relax • Stop worrying it will not help you solve the problem • Be aware that you have stress problems • Try to eat well and sleep well • Try to train yourself to be positive When you organize your time you will find it easier to get things done. Prioritize your tasks and do them one at a time. You will get them done more quickly and easily this way. Take some time out for yourself and try to relax. Try some meditation – this is a good stress reliever. Do something that you like to do. Once you are aware that you are stressing out you can find out the main factors that are causing it and try to solve or alleviate the problems. Look after yourself and try to eat well, sleep well and above all be positive Some nutritional supplements can help your stressed out body heal itself. Supplements that supply your body with essential Glyconutrients can help when you are stressed. Why? Because glyconutrients become depleted when your body gets stressed out. When you have less of these vital nutrients your immune system becomes weakened and you are more susceptible to infections and diseases. Taking glyconutrients can help your body reverse these damaging effects caused by stress and enable you to live a healthier happier life.

    Family Vacations 28

Family vacations Growing up, my parents were sure to make sure that each and every year consisted of at least 2 family vacations. There were years that we didn't have a lot of money to be taking lavish family vacations, but they always found some way to get all of us together and give us lasting memories. That's what life and quality time is supposed to be about the memories that will last a lifetime. There were years that they splurged and would fly all of us to Disney or the Bahamas. Most of our family vacations were spent at the beach or camping in the wilderness. Camping didn't cost very much money and somehow always ended up being a really peaceful vacation. All of the family fights and arguing seemed to be put on hold once we were out in the great outdoors. My parents had purchased a huge, two room tent one year to accommodate their growing children, and it was so much fun for us. My dad would let us stay up late and tell us stories while we snuggled into our sleeping bags. My mother would pretend to be annoyed that we were staying up past our bedtimes, but she was always smiling when she said it. The family vacations to the beach were always thrilling as well. They would rent a house or apartment a few blocks from the beach and we'd spend a week laying in the sun, jumping through the waves and running around in the sand. It isn't cheap to plan and take family vacations nowadays. Prices have skyrocketed and the price of fuel can cut some trips short. People are tending to not venture as far away from home to save money. Family vacations to Disney are often advertised that they are discounted or on sale, but even the lower costs can really add up for a larger family. The actual airfare and hotel might be reasonable, but you have to think about all of the food and drinks that add up on those relaxing family vacations. The admissions to the theme parks are amazingly high. For families who are wanting to take family vacations that will be peaceful and memorable, you don't always have to spend a fortune. My favorite memories of spending time with my family weren't in the islands or theme parks, they were of camping. Of course, not every family craves spending time in the great outdoors. I know some families who can't live without electricity and a comfy bed. There are other options. If you're looking to travel someplace, see if there are package deals that might include all of your meals. That could save your family quite a bit of money. Visit the beaches in the off season to take advantage of lower rates and smaller crowds of people. Visit local destinations instead of venturing farther away. And remember, family vacations aren't always about where you go or how much money you spend it is about making memories.

Diving On Koh Tao In Thailand

Scuba diving is by far the biggest attraction on Ko Tao, and it is easy, fun, and you will see a lot of fish, perhaps even turtles, stingrays, barracuda, reef sharks, and even a whale shark if you get lucky You will get good diving weather on Koh Tao apart from November, when the sea is choppy, and visibility is poorer than normal. The visibility can be over 40 metres during the rest of the year. You will find a lot of dive operators on the island, and some of them offer accommodation. Just beware that when you read the accommodation is free, it’s not really, because they will offer discounts if you stay somewhere else. In 2006 you will pay in the region of 10,000 bht for a PADI open water certificate, and this should include the new PADI training manual, proper professional instruction, rental equipment, boat dives etc. This may include insurance and basic accommodation, but shop around, and remember the methods of instruction may differ enormously. A few hints include avoiding shops that use swimming pools to teach you in. You’ll find it cold, boring, and unhygienic, bearing in mind this is a very popular diving island, and they will have literally hundreds of students . Choose one that will take you to a private beach so you will see fish and coral right away, it is a lot more interesting, and you will probably get more dives!! It’s also a good idea to find a dive shop that has its own private pier, so you won’t have to climb over other boats at the pier, although you won’t be carrying your dive gear, that should be carried by a Dive Master Trainee. In addition you ought to ask how many students there will be in your group, because there should not be more than a small handful, if they tell you there will be more than ten then look elsewhere. You want personal tuition for something as important as this, and you want your course to be really enjoyable. If you are looking for specific dive shops, this list whilst by no means exhaustive, is at least a starting point. 1. Coral Grand . Located in a much quieter area than the other dive shops, at the far end of the beach, the hotel is more upmarket than most on the island although the 'free' rooms are still basic. Operates 2 dive boats plus a speed boat. 2. Divepoint . Located in Mae Haad on the waterfront. Divepoint has probably the nicest dive boat on the island, big enough that you won't have to carry your gear to and from it. PADI and SSI. 3. Easy Divers. Fantastic Dive Shop with really experienced instructors. Professional and fun with great accommodation. Based right in the heart of Ko Tao. 4. IDC Ko Tao. Instructor development courses (IDC's) run every month by English PADI Course Director Matt Bolton. 5. Phoenix Divers. Right on Sairee Beach, has good boats, new gear and multilingual often western staff. 6. Stingray Divers. Very modern dive resort overlooking Chalok Ban Khao Bay. Hope this information helps you to have great diving experience on Koh Tao

Horseback Riding Camps Deliver Spirited Fun

There's no reason for a child to spend their summers home, alone and bored. With the number of different specialty camps available in most communities and nearby, the options are almost unlimited. Equine lovers, for example, tend to delight in the type of fun horseback riding camps deliver. These camps can be found in just about any community where horses are also at home. The options for horseback riding camps range from overnight venues or even daytime programs for those who live nearby. The extent of offerings at these camps will vary from location to locations, but some generalizations can be made. Whether a child is flown out to a camp in the Wild West to enjoy intense riding training or they visit a ranch at home, the following activities are generally included in horseback riding camps: * Basic horse handling. To ride a horse, a child needs to understand the standard tack, how it works and the proper techniques for handling and working with the gentle giants. By the end of most camp sessions, youth fully understand how to prepare a horse for riding and how to take care of the equipment involved. * Basic riding lessons. Beginners often flourish in these hands on camps that offer lots of basic instruction through direct riding. Youth typically learn the basic commands, riding postures and more. This is generally done in a fun, but controlled and disciplined, environment. * Novice, advanced lessons. Youth who know their way around horses can still benefit from these camps. Many offer different levels of training so the more advanced riders don't feel too far ahead of the pack. These lessons might include more complex riding maneuvers, such as jumping, racing and more. * Basic horse care. Part of taking care of a horse involves work. Kids will not escape this aspect, as it is important for ensuring a steed is well cared for and remains healthy. Lessons here might include such things as grooming, basic animal behavior, basic first aid and even stall cleaning. Make sure the kids understand a few "chores" likely will go along with the deal. * Teamwork. To truly ride a horse and do it correctly, children will learn the importance of working together with each other and the horses they are assigned to perform tasks and learn the tricks of the trade as far as riding is concerned. * Other camp fun. While horses are the main attraction, these camps often offer much more than just riding and cleaning out stalls. Other activities often include sports, swimming, arts and crafts, hiking and more. There's no reason to think the entire trip will be spent on the back of a horse or in the barns. Yes, this will be a big part of it, but that's not all, especially at overnight camps where a whole host of fun programs tend to take place after the sun goes down. Horseback riding camps are ideal locations for children who have a passion for these animals. Teaching them more about proper handling, riding technique and care, these camps can be found from coast to coast.

    Candles

A candle is a light source usually consisting of an internal wick which rises through the center of a column of solid fuel. Typically the fuel is some form of wax with paraffin wax being the most common. Prior to the candle being ignited, the wick is saturated with the fuel in its solid form. The heat of the match or other flame being used to light the candle first melts and then vaporizes a small amount of the fuel. Once vaporized, the fuel combines with oxygen in the atmosphere to form a flame. This flame then provides sufficient heat to keep the candle burning via a self sustaining chain of events: the heat of the flame melts the top of the mass of solid fuel, the liquefied fuel then moves upward through the wick via capillary action, and the liquefied fuel is then vaporized to burn within the candle's flame. The burning of the fuel takes place in several distinct regions (as evidenced by the various colors that can be seen within the candle's flame). Within the bluer, hotter regions, hydrogen is being separated from the fuel and burned to form water vapor. The brighter, yellower part of the flame is the remaining carbon soot being oxidized to form carbon dioxide. As the mass of the solid fuel is melted and consumed, the candle grows shorter. Portions of the wick that are not evaporating the liquid fuel are themselves consumed in the flame, limiting the exposed length of the wick. Usage Prior to the domestication of electricity, candles were a common source of lighting, before, and later in addition to, the oil lamp. Due to local availability and the cost of resources, for several centuries up to the 19th century candles were more common in northern Europe, and olive oil lamps more common in southern Europe and around the Mediterranean Sea. Makers of candles were known as chandlers. Today, candles are usually used for their aesthetic value, particularly to set a soft, warm, or romantic ambience, and for emergency lighting during electrical power failures. Scented candles are common in aromatherapy. Small candles are often placed on birthday cakes. Religion Candles are used in religious ceremonies. Christianity In Christianity, they typically represent the light of Jesus, and are often placed on the altar. Votive candles may be lit as an accompaniment to prayer. Candles are lit by worshippers in front of icons in Orthodox and other churches. Candlemas marks the end of the season of Epiphany. Candles were traditionally used to light up Christmas trees before the advent of electric lights. They are still, even today, commonly used to decorate Christmas trees in Denmark and other European countries. They are also used in Advent wreaths. In Sweden (and other Scandinavian countries), St. Lucia Day is celebrated on December 13 with the crowning of a young girl with a ring of candles. Judaism In Judaism, candles are traditionally lit on Friday evening at the start of the weekly Sabbath celebration. The Jewish holiday of Chanukah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated by lighting a candle in a special candelabrum (menorah) each night during the eight day holiday to commemorate the dedication of the altar in the Temple in Jerusalem. Candles are also used in remembering a deceased loved one, especially on Yom HaShoah, The Day of the Holocaust. Kwanzaa Candles are also used in celebrations of Kwanzaa, which is an African American holiday, which runs from December 26 to January 1.

What Cyber Price For A National Identity

This is a case of 'let the seller beware' ... The tiny Polynesian island nation of Niue is beginning to think it's been had. Frankly, it's clear they didn't do their homework before they did their deal. Ironically, it seems the buyer hadn't really done his, either. Anyone who has been inundated by advertisements for 'global domains' can easily understand that it's a burgeoning business. The specter of purchasing a domain at a much better price than the more common 'dot com' or 'dot net' or 'dot org' is most attractive to most aspiring entrepeneurs on limited budgets. This niche's market leader is most likely Global Domains International (GDI), which has no doubt put Western Samoa on the mental map of many a cybernaut. The key element in that deal is that the Western Samoan government granted the rights to GDI in return for a royalty for every domain sold. Niue's name is derived from the local language's phrase for, "Look, a coconut!" It seems they should have used theirs more thoroughly before signing a domain deal with Bill Semich in 1998. An American businessman whose former station was editor for a computer magazine, Semich recognized the potential value in the marketability of unique domains. Apparently finding the 'nu' extension an attractive letter combination, he signed a contract with the Niue government that gave him the exclusive rights to it. It wasn't a one way deal. Semich guaranteed free wireless access for all 2000 of Niue's citizens and he delivered, completing the installation of an island wide network of translator towers in 2003. The country's leaders surely felt they had provided their citizenry with a service for the new century which would favorably ensconce their place in island history. Semich, meanwhile, intended to hawk his bargain domains to Americans. He had no idea that his ideal customers were in Sweden, where 'nu' is the local word for 'now.' Obviously,'now' is a hot marketing action term in any language, so Semich was pleasantly surprised to find the Swedes flocking to his cyber property. As a translated example of why this works for them, 'drive. now' (which would be 'kцra. nu') is a very compelling sales slogan which becomes an ideal URL for a Swedish driving school. To date, Semich has had 110,000 sales of 'dot nu' domains at $30 a year, which has considerably swollen the coffers of his '.NU Domain Ltd' to the extent that its website's home page default language is now or nu in Swedish. In fact, Semich has cleverly taken advantage of this windfall to become the first domain provider to incorporate a complete Unicode character set into its scripts, allowing users whose alphabets have unique characters in Swedish, that would be the letters 'е,' 'д' and 'ц' to remain true to their language instead of settling for Anglicized versions, which often destroy their original meaning. His company has already announced the rollout of this service in Sweden. Given that Unicode enables linguistic propriety to Japanese, Cyrillic, Spanish, French, German, Arabic and any other script with unique characters, Semich has truly become a pioneer in his craft. All this commercial success has wrought concerns in Niue. Not only is the disparity in financial benefit an issue, but the island's strongly Christian residents are upset that 'dot nu' has become a popular extension for pornographic sites. Semich disavows any responsibility for this segment of his clientele, but the fact remains that they are there. The issue became such a political hot potato that 'neo colonialism' was a trendy charge in Niue's recent elections. Semich seems shrewd enough to realize that he's got the high ground in any bargaining that must be done to assuage his Pacific partners, so a reasonable solution will surely be attained. This scenario underscores the all encompassing scope of cyberspatial commerce and the depth of considerations that both buyer and seller must assess before entering into far reaching agreements. Not even the world's tiniest nation and that's remote little blip in the Pacific Niue is immune from the effects. The moral of the story, then, is to count your cyber coconuts before they're cracked open. They may be worth more than you think.

    Vollyball The Physical Sport

When two teams meet on a beach for a professional play of volley ball, they will be more tilted let the aggressive side of their personality emerge. If the players reached the level of tournament of the play in volley ball, then it seems normal to be aggressive while playing the game which they like. A player of volley ball could exhiber a level of the patience which is comparable with a prey of picking off of puma in tall grass. A player of volley ball could dominate volley ball by carrying out the air lifting exploits which take them with the vertical sizes in only seconds. Some spectators could compare the physical prowess of the athlete with a puma which is concentrated on bringing in bottom of the prey in order to feed to him from the small animals. The spite shown by a player of volley ball during a tournament lasts only also a long time like does it the play. When the play more, the ventilators have the occasion to see the more beautiful side of the player and to feel at ease when they ask them an autograph. When being exerted for the aggressive plays of volley ball, a player must pass much hours stretching the muscles in their arms and legs. This type of formation prepares them for the duplicate second synchronization of which they will have need to charge the net and to send the ball descending to a spot on the court of their opponent which is simply out of reach. Noting that the spot requires pointed hand to observe coordination and an aggressive nature which is almost principal. More periods than not, the player who delivers such a ball will initially unload the face in sand. The aggressive plays of volley ball require the brutal treatment all the parts of body at the same time or others during a match, but the duration of this abuse is limited to a question of the seconds in the majority of the cases. The players of volley ball count on the team work to obtain their ball on the mark, which can be any point above the net on the court their opponent . The service of volley ball requires to mix of an aggressive personality with the movements which are refined by reiterated exercises of formation of jump. The result is a service without clash which seems to steal effortlessly to the court of opponent with the exactitude of precision. The number of players in a set of professional volley ball will influence how aggressive all the players will be on the court. Some players claim the property with a space of place of three foot which surrounds their body on all the sides. There are many forces to work during an aggressive match of volley ball, and the players will count on the forces of gravity and acceleration to move the volley ball of a sector of the court of volley ball to the other. Some players specialize in a certain position on the court of volley ball and must await their turn until the rotation of play puts them in this position. This position will give the best opportunity to them to show their talents and to release their aggressive natures on an adversary. The players who practise often together obtain the occasion to become accustomed with their movements of members of team. These movements become the second nature and can mean the difference between victory and loss. When the teams coordinate their efforts of play at the point where they play as a unit, it is very probable that this team can easily evaluate the qualifications of play of the players on the team and the play of opposition to these weaknesses with very little verbal comment.

    Commercial Real Estate

Commercial real estate Commercial real estate: The big profits Real estate is often termed as the safest investment avenue. In fact, real estate investments done with proper evaluation of the property (and its true value), can lead to good profits. This is one reason why some people pursue real estate investment as their full time job. The talks of real estate are generally focussed towards residential real estate; commercial real estate seems to take a back seat. However, commercial real estate too is a good option for investing in real estate. Commercial real estate includes a lot of different kinds of properties. Most people relate commercial real estate with only office complexes or factories/ industrial units. However, that is not all of commercial real estate. There is more to commercial real estate. Health care centers, retail structures and warehouse are all good examples of commercial real estate. Even residential properties like apartments (or any property that consists of more than four residential units) are considered commercial real estate. In fact, such commercial real estate is much in demand. So, is commercial real estate really profitable? Well, if it were not profitable I would not have been writing about commercial real estate at all. So, commercial real estate is profitable for sure. The only thing with commercial real estate is that recognising the opportunity is a bit difficult as compared to residential real estate. But commercial real estate profits can be real big (in fact, much bigger than you would expect from residential real estate of the same proportion). You could take up commercial real estate for either reselling after appreciation or for renting out to, say, retailers. The commercial real estate development is in fact treated as the first sign for growth of residential real estate. Once you know of the possibility of significant commercial growth in the region (either due to tax breaks or whatever), you should start evaluating the potential for appreciation in the prices of commercial real estate and then go for it quickly (as soon as you find a good deal). And you must really work towards getting a good deal. If you find that commercial real estate, e. g. land, is available in big chunks which are too expensive for you to buy, you could look at forming a small investor group (with your friends) and buy it together (and split the profits later). In some cases e. g. when a retail boom is expected in a region, you might find it profitable to buy a property that you can convert into a warehouse for the purpose of renting to small businesses. So commercial real estate presents a whole plethora of investing opportunities, you just need to grab it.

Travel India Explore An Entire Subcontinent

: Grandly protruding into the Indian Ocean, India is more of a continent than a country. This subcontinent covers every topographical wonder, from white sandy island beaches and tropical forests to high deserts and soaring mountain ranges. Discover 5,000 years of human history, beginning with one of the oldest civilizations of the Indus River Valley who merged with Aryan invaders around 1500 B. C.E. to create the classic Indian culture that still thrives today. With 26 World Heritage Sites sprinkled about the country, it is easy to be immersed in the intricacies of local culture in nearly each of the 28 states and 7 territories. Thriving Cities and Clashing Cultures: The Beauty of the North The northern region of India is an assorted mix of cultures, traditions, languages and arts. The vulnerability of this area to outside invaders throughout history has been both a blessing and a curse, bringing with the turmoil unique external influences and inspirations. The capital city of New Delhi, with its mix of four major religions, 7 reigns of power and 2500 years of history, is a prime example of coexisting realities. Wind your way through Old Delhi and be surrounded by remnants of the Mughal Empire, including the largest mosque in India, the Jama Masjid, and Humayun’s Tomb, a 16th century landmark of breathtaking Mughal architecture that would later be echoed in the Taj Mahal. New Delhi is almost a different world with its imperial architecture and broad stately boulevards. Colonial influence is abundant since the British declared Delhi the capital during their rule. The Taj Mahal is also in the north, about 200 kilometers from Delhi. This is the most iconic demonstration of Mughal construction and should not be missed. A Light into the Heartland: Travel India’s South Travel to the more culturally homogenous south of India and witness thousands of years of the caste system still in practice despite the more modern structure of India’s government. With its alluring tales of trade and independence, Goa is one of the most popular destinations along the Indian coastline. Among Goa’s ancient ruins stands the Vittala Temple, a monumental tribute to the capital city of the primeval Vijayangara Empire. Most notable are the temple’s musical pillars that represent different musical instruments. Goa’s intricate architecture and independent culture are also products of 450 years of Portuguese colonial rule. In the south, the traveler will also encounter a plethora of biodiversity and protected wilderness areas. The Western Ghats Range is classified as one of the world’s biodiversity hotspots where Silent Valley National Park protects India’s last tract of virgin tropical evergreen forest. When to Travel to India Despite the gargantuan size of this subcontinent, there are distinct seasons during which travel anywhere in the country can be extraordinarily uncomfortable and stressful. From April to October, temperatures soar above 90F (45C) and humidity escalates to unbearable levels. October also marks the end of the monsoon season during which the southern and coastal regions are plagued with torrential downpour. The rest of the year is very pleasant and mild with consistently warm weather in the south and rather chilly evenings in the north between December and February. Remain positive and upbeat and do not focus on your fearful and exaggerated thoughts. In addition, prayer is a great way to manage your fears. Do not underestimate the power of prayer. If you still have trouble then seek the services of a counselor or clergyman who can lead you in the right direction. The key is not to lose hope.

Baby Shower Gifts Perfect Gift For A Mad Mummy And Daddy

There are many different ways of celebrating a new baby on the way the options are endless. It is the holding of a shower party which is the most popular where guests bring along baby shower gifts for the mother to be. All presents are normally items that mother and baby need thus helping the new parent in raising the baby. Looking for ideas on what to give will not be a problem but what you have to remember when buying baby shower gifts is, it is not about you and your likes and dislikes. The new mom to be may not have the same opinion on what you see as pretty or not. Stick with the essentials and you can not go far wrong. By doing this you know that your baby shower gift will be truly appreciated especially if it helps towards reducing the new parents cost allowance in raising the baby. If you are not sure of what the essentials are then the list below may help you decide on what to bring as your gift to the party. 1. Diapers may not be the most fanciful of gifts to bestow but certainly the most practical. We all know that you can never have too many diapers of which mummy will find out a little later when baby is here. Diapers can be very costly so I am sure that this baby shower gift will not be snubbed. You have two types of diaper the deposable or cloth. A tip for the parent, if you receive cloth and dont intend to use them then why not cut into neat square strips and use for baby flannels you will need them come bath time. 2. Bottles and Pacifiers are fabulous gift items but need to be chosen with care e. g. colours, pacifiers in blue dont suit little girls or vice or versa. This sort of gift picking can be a nightmare because baby can be picky on what they are comfortable and content with. 3. If you choose to buy baby clothes as your baby shower gift always go for a size bigger or bigger again as babies are not babies for long. Selecting what clothes to buy will be a lot simpler if the sex of the baby is known or the month baby is due. By having this information under your hat your choice regarding colours and which outfit for the season will make your task easier. 4. Toys make ideal presents but once again the sex of the baby is definitely a plus to know. You can help boost babys mind with self educational stuff, things like classic story baby books, video and music CDs even cuddly bears which often becomes babys companion at bedtime. 5. Bath time and babies, they either love or hate the water. For babies that love to splash then perfect gifts are baby shower bath toys. For infants who are dubious in taking the plunge you have to make this experience as enjoyable as you can by giving little excites like cute rubber ducks bright and colourful. Scented bath rubs like lavender cologne or even bubble bath may help baby relax more. Towels/flannels are among other gifts warmly welcomed for help to easing bath time pressure, mopping up splashed water. This is a time for wetsuits believe me. If all fails at bath time in keeping the agitated baby content and the baby shower gifts are not helping to overcome the fear then you have no option but to play clown for a while. The more action around baby at this time e. g. a mad mummy and daddy dunking their head under water may just help baby to forget why he/she made all the fuss in the first place.
