Stress Some Ways Not To Deal With It

There are any number stress management techniques and for coping with stress in general and dealing with both the physical and emotional causes for stress. There are techniques for both short term symptoms of stress and even long term or chronic symptoms of stress are possible. There are also a certain amount of self employed techniques that are actually or can be counter productive in the quest for a cure. The following are some of the more typical errors. In an attempt to alleviate the tension and worry that accompany stress, some individuals can head down the wrong path will unwittingly engage in self destructive behavior. The type of stress that can lead to being short tempered and cause the individual behave angrily toward a friend or family member can many times be heightened by excessive alcohol drinking or even coffee drinking that results in a high intake of caffeine. Many times these dots aren’t connected and the cycle continues causing more stress symptoms more often. Lack of sleep or chronic lack of sleep (insomnia) is one of the most common causes of stress. Again, the theme here is the cycle of stress itself. When something is troubling you, and you are physically uncomfortable, it's difficult to relax enough to sleep. And when you don’t get enough sleep and become fatigued your patience grows shorter and you ability to reason becomes inhibited and thus the stress continues. During this type of a stress cycle, when you do manage to fall asleep, it's often interrupted during the night, or not the type of deep sleep that is genuinely restful. A heightened focus on problem solving is natural and generally a sign of good mental health. But completely obsessing, even in the face of serious issues, is counter productive. Try to step outside the problem as if you are consoling someone or a friend who is faced with the problem. You would be concerned, of course and this will give you a different perspective of the situation. We're often much better at maintaining objectivity when the problem belongs to someone else. Some people try to cope with stress by doing the right thing for the wrong reasons. One of the techniques used to combat stress is the ability to focus on something else that takes your mind away from a stressful situation. However, burying oneself into projects at work or school as way of shifting focus away from problems at home may at best provide a change of focus, but ultimately is not a productive way to deal with the stress at home in this situation. Avoidance can only be partially successful, and only temporarily at that. Some problems do go away on their own and ignoring (or more accurately not over reacting to them) can be a viable strategy. But a reality check is the key here… the circumstances combined with the internal evaluations that lead to chronic stress do not disappear simply because we're not thinking about them. A temporary break to gain perspective and get the emotions under control is healthy. Hiding one's head in the sand is not. Fundamentally, all these incorrect and unhelpful methods have a common root. Reality doesn't go away when some aspects of it are inconvenient or unpleasant. Life is filled with obstacles placed in your way. The existence of those hurdles and the need to overcome them when combined with doubts about our ability to do so leads to stress. Learning to correctly evaluate and deal with life’s obstacles leads to gaining confidence in one’s ability to do so and with each hurdle overcome one’s self confidence grows stronger… and stress stays on vacation.

Bwm2 Mountain Climbing Base Camp Setup

Setup of a Base Camp for Mountain Climbing Mountain climbing can be a dangerous sport because of all the risks and hazards involved when trying to conquer a certain peak. That is why prior to the actual climb, intense preparation is required. Mapping out the route, checking weather conditions, purchasing and securing the necessary equipment (including goods), and other preparations are very important in the whole process of mountain climbing. One of the most important preparations required is setting up a base camp just right before the climb. A base camp, aptly named because it is a camp that is set up at the base of the mountain, is usually the starting point of the climb. It is needed for higher mountains that require two or more days, or even weeks, to conquer. The base camp is used to store supplies and other goods that may be carried to other smaller camps higher up the mountain. Climbing a high mountain can be a difficult task. It can rate from difficult to life threatening if there is a lack of proper supplies. This is the reason why to set up a base camp, an abundance of supplies is highly recommended, even if the climber has to overstock. The base camp setup for mountain climbing isn't as difficult as it sounds. Remember, this is the rest area for the climber/s, prior to the climb, and after going down the mountain. It should contain a bed (even a makeshift one), cooking supplies for food, a stock area, an area for clothing, a communications setup (especially for team climbers), and other necessities. They can all be housed in a large tent. The best example of the need for a base camp is when a group of climbers is trying to climb the world’s tallest peak, Mt. Everest. It is imperative that a base camp is properly set up because Mt. Everest is full of dangers. Usually, there is at least one member of the team that stays behind at the base camp while the others do the actual climb. This certain member is in charge of the supplies and communication, so that if any unforeseen incident happens, he/she can call for a rescue attempt. Properly setting up a base camp ought to be considered a must for mountain climbing that requires days to complete. In fact, a base camp can mean life and death in certain situations, and all people are best to avoid that risk.

The Advantages Of Getting A Graphic Design Degree

Graphic design could be a great career opportunity for you. It's a growing, rapidly changing field that takes both talent and technical expertise, and those who are good at it are in great demand. If you are considering college or thinking about making a career change, you might consider getting a degree in graphic design. Why get a degree? It is true that there are a lot of talented graphic designers who pretty much learned everything they know on the job or "by the seat of their pants." Because the profession has matured, however, that's rarely possible anymore. It doesn't matter how much talent or expertise you have, you'll probably need a degree to break into the field. To be honest, that's okay because earning a degree has lots of benefits. For one thing, there's the whole college experience. Whether you're a traditional (as in just out of high school) student or not, there’s a lot to be gained from the experience of going to college. You make friends and contacts and connections within your future profession that you'll be able to count on for the rest of your life. You learn the discipline necessary to start and finish a program. You learn about professional resources, literature and research. Most importantly, you learn how to learn. These are skills that you will need when you start to work as a graphic designer. Another advantage of going to school and getting a degree is that it gives you an opportunity to build your professional portfolio and develop your resume. By the time you graduate, you will have worked on many projects, and you can add each of those to your portfolio. You will have worked with teachers who are respected designers and with professional designers who are working in a variety of industries. Every experience you have, and every positive evaluation by someone within the profession will become part of your resume or your portfolio. When you graduate, you will have the knowledge and degree you need to get a job, and you'll also have the tools, recommendations and experience that will open doors for you. What will you learn? Obviously, you'll learn about graphic design, but that's only the beginning. (Actually, it's the end, because you tend to take your professional classes toward the end of your academic career.) You'll take both general education and graphics design classes, and you'll develop important professional skills. General education: A lot of people think general education requirements are a waste of time, but don't blow them off and don't underestimate how valuable they will be to you professionally. People who earn a degree in anything are generally assumed to be educated, and there are basic things educated people should know. Part of being educated is knowing how to communicate orally and in writing, having basic math skills and knowing a bit about science, literature and art. It's important to be an educated person; it helps you to communicate with other educated persons. And graphic design is used in every one of those fields. Knowing a bit about them will help you when it comes to design an ad campaign or corporate brand package for them. Graphics design: You'll probably enjoy your graphics design classes the most. You will learn about art and about computer technology. You’ll learn about various kinds of media and how to use them. Composition, design principles, photography, animation and CGI are all examples of the kinds of things you will learn. Graphics design is a rapidly changing field, and, even though it's necessary to learn the fundamentals, much of what you learn in school will be outdated within a few years of graduation. You'll be exposed to people, technologies and information that are on the cutting edge, but one of the most important things you will learn in art school is how to keep up with the changes in your profession. Professional skills: In school, you’ll have opportunities to work on projects with other student designers and with professionals. These projects will help you learn professional skills that you can only acquire by doing the work. You'll learn how to work with other people, how to be a team member and a team leader, how to work with clients, and how to work under pressure. You'll learn about budgets and timelines and business practices. These "hands on" skills will make you ready to enter the job market as a professional graphics designer. What will you be able to do with your education? We are a media culture, and graphics design is used in nearly every industry, corporation, job and school and home in the world. As a professional graphics designer you can work in the publishing, music or television industries. You could work for the government or a private corporation. You could work for a design firm, or start your own firm. You could become a freelance designer. You could do anything from producing corporate reports to designing magazine layouts to creating corporate brands. You might create logos or signage or graphics. You may work with audio video media or print media. You could help design computer games or animated movies. The employment future for graphics designers is good. There are plenty of job opportunities and lots of variety in the type of work you could do. Graphics design is a great profession, and getting a degree in it could be the beginning of a rewarding career for you.

Why 80 Fail In Mlm Online Business

Eighty percent of the people in online business fail because they quit. This is a well known fact. This article is written to help those who have the ability to succeed to do one thing and one thing only: not quit. I have found that there are many leaders out there who are giving up to soon in online business. Often I'm puzzled as people who in the beginning say: "I'm with you all the way Don, even to the end, I know I'll never quit." But then six months or six days, or six hours later you get an email from your MLM that this person is no longer a member of your organization. Well, first off, you don't go chasing after the person, because as well noted speaker and author Jim Rohn has stated: "Just say, isn't that interesting?...and don't go chase the birds because when you do that you leave the field!" However, this article is written to those with genuine people, sales, or communication skills, who are quitting without giving themselves a chance from the start. Since this article is written for potential birds, my urging to you is don't fly away before you see your ocean view penthouse or your 2007 Corvette! Write down your dream, and then stick to it like glue, and do as Johnny Wimbrey, up and coming incredible motivational speaker says: "Make it your Must." So many people get into online business thinking that it's going to be get rich quick. Perhaps they should title get rich quick schemes "get rich quit." Because it's really true that the guys at the top of most scams are getting rich quick while you quit after investing your money. It's a vicious cycle. One that must be obliterated and dealt with. So, how do you know if you should stay with your current MLM online business or if you should quit? Number one, if you’re not sure of your company or stability, perhaps you have a good reason to quit. But for the 90% of you out there who are sold on your company or opportunity, I have one message: Don't quit! The online opportunity I'm involved with has over 20 years of online experience, and they were the first affiliate program ever offered online, so they have quite an immaculate background. But, even though that's true, it still takes me "work" to make it happen. Greg Ankeny, one of the top health company MLM leaders has been quoted as saying: "I went to work." That's the problem and herein lays the solution. Most people quit MLM's because they are not willing to go to work or to keep on working. Comments like: "Oh, this is too hard, and oh, I didn't know I'd have to talk to people, are running rampant in MLM. Yes you have to talk to people, yes you have to follow your companies marketing plan, to the tee, doing everything your leaders tell you to do, and then you may just end up getting rich! The internet today keeps making it easier and easier to market your online business, but yet it's amazing when you look at the statistics that fewer than 5% of those who join MLM's actually ever advertise online! Isn't that interesting? Even with the advent of cheap or low cost free ads, forums, pay per click advertising, and much more, people are still afraid to step out and just let others know about their site. That's just crazy! So how do we stop this nonsense? It's easy; I need all of you out there who are in an MLM, or looking for an MLM home business, to do three things. Number one never quit. Number two; find an online business that you love. Number three, when things get tough in your home business, I want you to remember the accomplishments in your life. For example, did you ever win an award for selling something, did you obtain a diploma your proud of, and did you win the Congressional Medal of Honor? Just simply thinking of your prior accomplishments in life may indeed help you to hang on to this awesome MLM online business opportunity you've been blessed to participate and succeed in. In conclusion, my hope and prayer is that someone will read this article that is about to quit their MLM, or who needs a stable MLM home business, and they will make the choice to do one thing: Never quit. Ever. Then I want you to write me and let me know what happens. In addition to never quitting I want you to follow the instructions of your upline leaders to the tee, without inventing your own tangents, and then keep going with your company for three to five years. It just might be after that amount of time where you "go to work" you may become financially free, and better yet, you may be involved with your MLM for life and your family may never have to worry about money again. Never forget what happened to a friend of mine Joel Buchfeller of Excel Telecommunications. He enrolled one guy names Al, on his second level, which made him an income for the rest of his life. He never fell below a $5000 per month income, and most of the time it was two or three times that. So don't give up, because you never know when you're going to find your "Al" who enrolls under you! So please, take my advice, and don't quit. Remember your prior accomplishments, and in the words of our Lord, please remember that: "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." Matthew 19:26. If you know you belong with your MLM company, stick with it, and who knows, you may be the next online business internet millionaire, and you'll be the one all of us are listening to for advice. Never quit.

    California Machine Spray Tan2

Getting California Machine Spray Tan California tanning makes use of sunless tanning technology, which means that it makes use of methods that provides tanned skinned appearance without actually absorbing harmful UV rays from the sun. There are different methods included in the collection of California Tan but one of the most popular is the California Tan Spray. But just what is a spray tan? A spray tan is basically referring to an artificial tan that is obtained by the use of dyes that are made for skin. There are two ways on how to obtain artificial tan: first by means of employing professional tanning services and using home tanning products. Whichever you prefer you will get a tan. A spray tan is a great alternative from harmful artificial tanning solutions that makes use of UVA and UVB. It is also a much preferred option to the usual sunbathing that often leads to sun damaged skin or worst cancer. Although there is still some people who are skeptical on using spray tan saying that it provides a very unnatural tan color but compared it to other tanning alternatives it simply cannot be denied that spray tan is by far safer. And in terms of the claimed unnatural color result, the spray tan technology has advance immensely that tanning results have become so natural you won't be able to tell that it's a fake tan. Plus it last longer compared to suntan and of course much safer. Professional spray tan is usually offered by tanning salons that have tanning booths. Different names are given to tanning application as well as to tanning products but they are basically the same. The advantage that comes with obtaining tanning service from professional tanning salons is that you are given better assistance especially when it comes to operating the spray tan machine inside the booth. You will also be guided on what tone to choose and the amount of application that you need to obtain the right tan color that would complement your skin type. Likewise, a technician will also help you in adjusting the nozzles inside the booth to match your desired result. The technician ensures that everything is set inside the booth before they let you in. The Machines behind the Tan There are various types of spray tanning machines that are employed by tanning salons. These spray tanning machines fall under two main types of systems and these are: automated spray tan booths and the manual spray on tanning system. Both of these systems make use of DH, which is an active ingredient that reacts with the amino acid of the skin producing that natural tanned look. The automated spray tan booth is a system comprising of a self contained booth that is often made of fiberglass, aluminum or acrylic with a large compressor and spray nozzles. The spray nozzles are usually mounted on a moveable pillar. The user needs to stand in front of the nozzles and push the button of the machine to begin the tanning process. The nozzles or sprays emit a mist of tanning solution that gently covers the body of the user giving it its tanned look. The booth is also designed in such a way the mist is pushed into a floor pan and into a filter system. The airbrush spray on tanning system on the other hand is likened to a car spray in a sense that it makes use of a small compressor, a small pot, s spray gun and a hose. The compressor is used to generate air pressure that is needed by the spray to spurt out the tanning solution. The spray spurt out very fine mist, which are then applied to the body to achieve tanned look. Tanning salons may offer both or any one of the above mentioned spray tan system. It is up to you to choose the one that would work best for you.

    Party Jokes Startling But Unnecessary

Here, I focus on a range of items and features that we use in life without giving them a second thought such as Coca Cola, body muscles and holding ones own breath. Though, most of these notes are not fundamentally necessary, they are such that you can use them for a good laugh, at a drinks party or for picking up women or men. 1) Coca Cola: Did you know that its original colour was green? 2) Mohammed: Did you know that this is the most used name in the entire world? 3) Geographical Letters: Did you know that the name of each of the continents begins and concludes with the exact same alphabet? Do not believe that? Look up Asia, Europe, Africa, America, Antarctica and the rest. 4) Muscle Strength: Did you know that the strongest muscle in the entire body is that one which we use to lick a popsicle? Your tongue. 5) Credit Cards: In the United States, were you aware that each and every person has at least two credit cards? 6) An Antique Machine: The word for an old machine that was once used for writing letters and other documents is the largest word that one can make if they click only on a single row of their computer's keyboard: typewriter! 7) Blink: Men wink at women, but research has found out that the average woman blinks nearly two times more than the average man. 8) Suicide: Even though you might have wondered if it was possible, studies have discovered that it is impossible to kill oneself by simply holding in your breath. 9) Licking: However much you may try, you will never be able to lick your elbows. 10) Sneeze: Try sneezing. People will automatically answer you with a bless you greeting. Have you ever imagined why? Some say that this happens because a sneeze stops the functioning of the heart for a very tiny second. 11) The Blue Sky: Did you know that a pig, no matter how much they try, cannot look up into the sky? 12) Twisting Your Tongue: We have all dabbled with different tongue twisters in our day. But do you know which is the toughest? Sixth sick sheiks sixth sheeps sick. 13) Ribs: Did you know that you should try not to sneeze too strongly. Why? A very powerful sneeze has the ability to cause a fracture in your ribcage. But, then again, if you try and withhold one, you stand the chance of breaking one of the many blood vessels in your neck or head. This could cause death. 14) Cards: Did you think that the Kings are all just random cards referring to random figures? No. Each one signifies a different king: Diamonds for Julius Caesar, Clubs for Alexander the Great, Spades for David and Hearts for Charlemagne. 15) And finally: Most everyone reading this (Caught You!) are trying to lick their elbows at this exact moment! Conclusion: Most of these are not scientific facts, but they are hilarious, funny and can be used to lighten up the ambience when a conversation has gone dull. Use any and see your popularity rise up to great heights. Visit gambling portal. com for more jokes.

Texas Bass Fishing A Western Adventure

Texas is a large state with a lot of great qualities and features. It's hardly surprising to learn that Texas is home to plentiful and productive bass fishing opportunities. Fishing in Texas is often affectionately called big water fishing. There are many really big lakes in Texas that are also renowned for both the size and great quality of bass fish to be found there. However, since it is such a huge area, Texas bass fishing can seem overwhelming to those you don't know where the best fishing spots are, or who don't know how to navigate the vast Texas bass fishing waters. If you are not familiar with Texas bass fishing waters, the first think you should do is seek the assistance of a professional guide. There is no reason to stumble around on your own when you can enlist the services of a professional guide. Many of these guides have excellent reputations for taking fishers to the best locations for catching bass fish. Once you've learned more about the waters with a guide, you will then be in a better position to return on your own for more fishing. Don't forget to tip your guides, too, as they are so helpful in starting your Texas bass fishing endeavors. A good guide who worked well with the customers should be rewarded accordingly, with a tip of perhaps one hundred dollars. Remember that you may be on vacation, but this is the guide's life's work. Another way to learn more about Texas bass fishing is to ask around at local bait and tackle shops. The local anglers are great resources because they fish the waters themselves regularly. If they'll share their secrets, local can lead you to where the best fish are to be found. You can also use a topographical map of the lake bottom to try to find fish populations. No matter which approach you choose, Texas bass fishing can be great fun and very productive. By preparing on the front end, you can have a great day on the water. While examining the great benefits of Texas bass fishing, remember to take special care to avoid potential risks. The Texas bass fishing waters are so large that some people have forgotten how to find their deck and have ended up spending uncomfortable nights on the boat when they got lost and/or ran out of fuel. For more info see knowbassfishing. com on Bass Fishing. The weather can also be a great challenge to Texas bass fishers. Swells can develop quickly and grow to such size and strength that the lake starts feeling like an ocean. Constantly keeping track of weather reports, water and clouds can protect you from the possibility of rough water conditions and perhaps even capsizing, which is never a good thing for fishermen.

Creating Surplus Cash For Savings And Investments

You know you need to be saving money but you never seem to have enough at the end of the month or worse, you are further in debt. Living below your means is more a matter of self discipline. A few adjustments here and there could be all it takes to have the necessary funds available for saving and investing. Some mutual funds can be opened up for as little as $200 with minimum contributions around $50. Here’s a list of ways to save money by spending less. *Open up bank accounts that have little or no service fees. Keep a cushion to avoid accidental bounced checks. These can eat you alive. Be sure to maintain your minimum balance to avoid service charges. *Try to avoid banks that charge you a transaction fee for using their debit cards. If you have no choice, plan how much money you will need in a given period and then withdraw it all at once to avoid too many transaction fees. *Compare credit cards. Look for the ones that have little or no annual fees. It’s not too hard to find those with no annual fee. *Avoid specialty store charge cards as they often have interest rates six or seven points higher than major credit cards. *Never choose a card based solely on incentives or reward programs. These include auto reward points and air travel miles. These cards may lead you to spend more money over time than you can afford. *Most importantly, avoid unnecessary interest charges by paying off the complete monthly balance. You can avoid hundreds of dollars in interest expenses on an annual basis. *When you buy a car, consider buying one that is one to three years old. A one year old car will be about 20% to 30% less than a new car. A three year old car is a good buy because it could be around half the price of a new car. A car depreciates the most in its first three years. After that the depreciation levels off and it will lose less of its value. *Another good saving when buying a used car is you will pay less for the insurance. *When going on vacation, consider staying in your home state instead of long distance trips or even international travel. It's often cheaper to travel within your own borders, that way, you avoid visa and passport costs, border hassles, currency exchanges, tropical shots, medication, and additional health insurance. Frequently, people travel thousands of miles to see sights not nearly as spectacular as what's next door. *You should consider off season vacations. Travel at a time when everyone else is at work or school, and the staff will actually be glad to see you. You may also save 50% or more on the usual travel expenses. *Avoid large cities and tourist traps; you'll save a ton by avoiding these places, where you pay more to eat, drink, sleep, and travel. If you do decide to visit a big city, consider accommodations in a smaller town close by. *If you have a lot of credit card debt at high rates, look into consolidating your debt at a lower rate. *Refrain from making impulse purchases. Exercise self discipline. *Refinance your mortgage or debt at a lower rate. *Refinance your car loan at a lower rate. *Shop around for cheaper car insurance rates. There can be a big difference. *Lower your phone bill by using self control on long distance calling. *Use a phone card for long distance or international calls. *Use coupons when you shop. *Don't buy things just because they are on sale. *Wait for things to go on sale before buying them. Keep a record of when things go on sale. Some items will seasonally go on sale. Ask stores when certain things will go on sale. *Buy generic, or non name brand merchandise. Most times the quality is just as good. *Stop smoking. This habit is extremely expensive. *Contribute the maximum each year to your 401K or to an IRA. *Remember, paying down debt is also a way to save money. If you can make extra payments on your mortgage or go for a 15 year mortgage instead of a 30 year mortgage. The savings are enormous. *Reduce the number of times you eat out. Oftentimes eating out at a restaurant involves paying a lot of money for over priced and over sized meals. For healthy meals and to save money, eat at home. *Watch videos or DVDs at home instead of going to the movies. Pop your own popcorn instead of paying a lot for theater popcorn. *Evaluate your entertainment and recreational activities. Many are very expensive to participate in. There are many others that are just as fun and entertaining that are at the fraction of the cost. *Don't try to compete with your friends and neighbors. Sometimes, an apparent prosperous lifestyle can be an illusion. Those illusions come with a lot of debt. It’s much better to have peace of mind. Be alert. There are always ways to save money. Soon you will yourself with money you never knew you had. The key is to put that money to work for you instead of spending it.

    Making Your Wishes Come True

Recently, a client came to me and told me, "I feel really discouraged. None of my wishes ever come true. No matter what I try, nothing ever comes of them. They’re just wishes and hopes that never come true. Help!" He told me he's tired of the "Same Old Same Old", but doesn't know how to turn his wishes into reality. That is the subject for this column. Here's my advice to him: See your desires as goals, not wishes. Wishes imply that you need the Good Fairy to waive his magic wand and make it happen. No offense, but you can’t always count on Good Fairies to come along when you need them. By seeing your desires as goals, you reframe them into something that you have more control over. They don’t seem so distant this way. Let’s look at how you can achieve these goals. Change comes gradually. Break your goals down into easy to do steps. For example, “save up money to buy a condo”; what are the steps you’d need to take in order to begin to make this a reality? If you don’t break down your goals into steps you can actually do, the goals will always elude you. No one can take on a huge goal like buying a condo without planning. Your first step may be to make a budget, another could be to look at condo prices in the neighborhoods you want to live in. If you have a habit of being bad with money, then you may need to look at that and do some work with that before you begin saving money. Many people subconsciously don’t think they deserve to have a nice home, beautiful car, big bank account, etc. On some level, they may be punishing themselves for something in the past. I’m talking about getting clear on the obstacles in the way of reaching your goal(s). Identify the obstacles in your way When I work with clients on goals, it is crucial to look at the obstacles in the way. For example, what has stopped you in the past from saving money, or volunteering, or eating better? Take each goal and ask yourself, “In the past, what has stopped me from achieving this?” and write it down. In therapy, I help my clients to chip away at the obstacles, bit by bit. You can do the same thing on your own, but it goes much faster if you get support from a therapist, friend, parent, counselor…someone who will be there for you to check in and see how you’re doing and to encourage you when it gets tough. Build in a reward system for yourself And it WILL get tough. You’ve listed some pretty major goals. It’s skillful to expect that your interest in achieving your goals will ebb and flow over time: so how will you stay motivated when you feel discouraged? This is another obstacle to get clear about. I suggest you create a system of rewards as you progress toward your goal(s). For example, after you make a budget, celebrate! Do something enjoyable for yourself (it can be free or inexpensive). This is simple behavior modification, and it works. Reward yourself each step of the way and you’ll find your progress towards your goals is both more pleasurable and sustainable. Prioritize It’s doubtful that you can work on all your goals at once. Prioritize them. I encourage my clients to take their goals and rate them (#1 is the most important, #2 is next, etc.). Start with the goals that are most important to you; you’ll automatically be more motivated to work toward these. Put the less important ones aside for now, it’s usually best to focus on no more than 3 goals at a time, otherwise you dissipate your energy and are likely to feel overwhelmed and give up on all of them. It is Do able Try these ideas and replace your discouragement and helplessness with competence and optimism. Use these “tools” (or any other methods that work for you) and get support all along the way from people who love you and want you to be happy.

London Builders Kitchen Installation. Part Three

If ceramic tile, false ceiling, laminate etc. "dress" your kitchen walls, floor and ceiling, than lighting fills all the space inside. Lightness influences not only cosiness, but also your appetite. There should be neither too much light (lest it blinds you), nor too little of it. The best version is a lighting created by several ceiling spotlights, not a single one in the centre of the kitchen. Fixed or spinning in several directions spotlight sources should be used. If your kitchen is very small, it is better not to fill it with the general light, but fix the spotlight sources above the main functional areas: sink, table, bar (if there is such). The frequent alternative is spotlights installation in the upper cap of the overhead cupboard, if there is such. Or, it is possible to set several ceiling spotlights fixed above the functional area. The natural addition to the main lighting is inner lighting of cupboards with half transparent doors. In this case, local light sources should be set in a strictly defined place on a required level. For example, for providing even light distribution along the functional surface, they are built in under cupboards. In this case, it is better to use an elongated lamp that is compact and almost unnoticeable. If functional area is an island kitchen type, the only place for setting the lighting is ceiling. In this case, long wired lamp with dispersing metal lampshade is the best. Strong directional light above the table (if it is not situated near the wall) can be provided by a single lamp with possibility of height regulation: this helps to create a certain atmosphere. Arranging the furniture. Large kitchen size, as well as too small one, creates problems. In spacious kitchens the distance between objects may be so big, that a housewife, moving from stove to sink, from fridge to table, from table to stove, gets tired quickly. It happens, that in spite of buying the multisectional furniture set, one has to move in the kitchen very carefully, in order not to overturn something. It so happens, that money is spent for needless meters of shelves and cupboards, and the comfort has not been achieved. In fact, guarantee of comfort is a reasonable treatment of every square centimeter in the kitchen area. For effective use of the kitchen space, it necessary to follow the functional places sequence according to cooking technology: Fridge, situated in the food keeping area. Place for preliminary peeling. Food washing, in this zone a waste bucket must be placed. Final cutting, dressing, chopping. Cooking, boiling. Serving. The majority of modern kitchen planning decisions are based on the "working triangle" principle. Angles of the triangle are formed by three most functional kitchen places: sink, cooking area, food keeping place. Subject to planning and size of your kitchen, there are several ways of placing this triangle. The best distance between the parts of the triangle is about 3 m. Placing a kitchen set in one raw is appropriate either in a very small kitchen, or, on the contrary, in a very large one. The sink should be situated between the stove and fridge. For maximizing the working area size, one should use built in electrical appliances. The rest area is meant for having meals. If your kitchen is an intercommunicating room, you can place the furniture along two walls. Stove should be situated on one side, and a fridge on the other. The width of the "aisle" should provide free access to the door and leave enough space for bending. Angle like planning is appropriate in a small square room, as well as in rooms with open planning. It is more comfortable to place a sink in the centre of the working triangle. One of the most rational planning types with much space for cooking and serving meals is placing furniture along three walls. Kitchen sink is usually in the centre, stove and fridge stand in the corners. Optimal width of middle part of the furniture set should be not less than 2,5m and the vacant space between the sides 1,2 2,8m. Smaller sizes create a narrowness, bigger a need to move more. Half island kitchen is any planning variant with an additional working surface takeout (ledge). As a rule, the ledge separates kitchen from the dinning room and may be used as a bar. Making island kitchen requires much space and thorough planning in order to provide movement saving. The professional cooks use such layout, because it is convenient to adjust such kitchen to any operation sequence and long working process. Island kitchen is a usual kitchen with additional sink, stove, or dinning table placed in the center. Optimal island size is 1,2 x 1,2m. Thus, you have made a list of all kitchen equipment and furniture, mentioning their size, and decided on their layout. Now pay your attention to the technical details, namely: size and place of ventilation, pipes, wiring, outlets, supple gas and water hose, and put all these data into your project plan. If you decided to buy equipment and furniture pieces separately, don't forget that the depth of the household appliances is usually 600mm, that is why you need to check all the parameters of the things you need.
