Alternative Ways To Avoid Payday Loan

: If you spend more than you earn on a regular basis, it is a bad practice. To overcome this situation, if you opt for a payday loan, it will be a “risky solution”. Payday loan companies often take the advantages of your need and lead you in debt trap. The most obvious disadvantage of payday loan is High cost. The APR of payday loan varies between 400% to 800%. Think about your investments even on a high interest stock, you can get an annual return of 20% to 30% for investment on a stock although investments on stocks are considered as “high risk”. So, consider about all the possible alternative ways before opting for a payday loan cash advance. •Payday loan borrowing situation arises due to bad financial planning. I suggest you to prepare a realistic budget at the beginning of each month in order to keep the balance between your earnings and spending. Avoid unnecessary purchases. Also save some money each and every month. Your savings will be counted at the time of crisis. Consider taking help from a consumer credit counseling bureau. •Ask your creditors to give you a favor by waiting until your next payday. If you can manage them to do so, you need not to borrow the loan and thus you can save 15 30 USD by not paying the loan interest! •Use your credit card for making urgent payments. Usually credit card loan’s interest rate is very low; even you have to pay nothing as interest if you repay the loan within a month. Again you save $15 $30 by not paying the loan interest. •Ask your banker or a credit union for a short term loan. The costs of these loans are such that you can easily afford. •Ask your employer to provide you with a portion of your salary as advance so that you can cope up with your emergency bills. •Consider in borrowing money from your friends or relatives. Actually for a time lag of 1 2 weeks nobody will prefer not to provide you the money (I strongly believe so!) unless you had a bad credit history with him or her. Thus you will meet your money requirements with no interest charges at all! Also think about the harassments if you can’t be able to repay the loan at specific date to the payday lender!! •Consider in making arrangements with your banker regarding withdrawal facility from your checking A/c in order to protect yourself from making extra charges on bounced checks. This facility costs you as little as $5.Sometimes no fee is needed at all! •When you shop for credit, check the APR and other official charges of different credit offers. Thus you can avoid higher monthly charges with lower credit cost. •Many social groups and communities provide urgent assistance either directly or by various social services programmes. For example, I can mention “Federal low income home emergency assistance programme” provides financial assistance to families with lower income. •There are several loan companies who offer $500 to $100 loan to active in duty & retired military personnel. The APR of these military loans range from 34% to 40% which is 10 to 15 times cheaper than payday loan. •There are also several Consumer finance companies that provide small consumer loans at a low APR of 60%, which is also cheaper than payday loans. Do the homework when you are about to borrow a payday loan. Look for low interest payday loan. Gather all the knowledge about payday loan before borrowing it. Give Me Cable Please Yank My Dish

Let’s start with what I consider one of the most important Cable TV advantages, Reliability! Cable TV is immune to the problems that plague Directv, Dish Network and all other DBS satellite providers. Such as Rain fade, Cloud fade, Ice fade, Snow fade, and as a former DBS owner I can name a couple other fade problems. Tree fade, trees naturally grow and when they start to leaf you start loosing your satellite signal, which means chop another tree or two down. Also a newly coined phrase, Wind fade, it’s not exactly the wind itself that causes the problem, but say your watching NASCAR and your picture starts to pixelate {turn into checkered squares} during a race, making it extremely annoying, it could be the wind blowing, bending the tree tops into the line of site for the satellite signal. Thus a windy day = Wind fade. I give Directv, Dish Network and all DBS satellite, Two thumbs down for reliability. If I had an extra thumb I’d give it three thumbs down. Cable TV or Digital Cable TV can function beautifully in all weather conditions, making it a much more viable and safer choice in extreme conditions. With Dish Network or Directv you may lose your signal long before you receive a warning from the weather bureau of impending danger, storms, tornados, etc. I’ll put my trust in cable TV for my family’s safety because it’s a very reliable worry free service! Give me cable TV please! And Yank My Dish! Mark Twain: “Denial ain't just a river in Egypt.” Just think about this! Just one small itsy bitsy cable, replaces all that junk on your roof, old antennas systems which can have two or even three antennas or even a tower. Also the ugly satellite dish or multiple dishes depending on local channels, HD channels, or their so called high speed internet. One small cable replaces all that, and at the same time provides a lot more service. One tiny cable brings you all these worry free services and more. Your crystal clear Cable TV / Video channels, High speed internet or cable internet. The cable industry is the world's largest broadband provider of high speed Internet access. In the U. S. alone it spent $100 billion over ten years to build a two way interactive network with fiber optic technology. Cable operators also provide state of the art digital Cable telephone service to millions around the world. Many cable operators are already offering bundled services, known as Triple Play. This consists of cable TV / video channels, high speed internet or cable internet, and Cable telephone services being bundled as a group which provides a huge savings to the customer. Just think about it! One tiny cable replaces all that junk on your roof and provides all these extra services perfectly! Cable TV Your One Stop Shop! One Wire – One Bill Cable High Speed Internet, Way To Go!!! Cable internet has the speed we need, and many cable operators are offering some very nice deals, below dial up monthly charges with no commitments or contracts. If cable internet is available to you, try it you’ll definitely like it! I remember the agony when I had dial up internet, I would type in a website and wait for what seemed like an eternity for the webpage to load up, while twirling around in my office chair until I got dizzy, then behold the page was finally loaded up. That all changed when cable TV became available to our area. The first time I tried high speed cable internet, I typed in a website and witnessed MAGIC, the page was there instantly. Very impressive! Just think of the time saved, and the increased productivity. Also were not tying up the phone line and missing important calls. Directv and Dish Network, So Called High Speed Internet??? Directv and DishNetwork as we’ve witnessed, have had failed attempts at a reliable high speed internet service via satellite in the past. It seems the current strategy is to partner up with Telephone companies that provide DSL, just so they can say they provide the DSL service themselves. Dish Network and Directv like to pretend their a Cable provider I guess? {Hey, nothing wrong with pretending, I like to pretend I’m Martha Stewart, whoops that’s another story}. As of this writing both Dish Network and Directv are partnered up with “WildBlue”, which does provide high speed internet service via satellite, but it may be wise to do a little investigating on the search engines using some select words added to WildBlue before you commit yourself to the service. It’s a long term commitment. Dish Networks / WildBlue have a contract term of 18 months and if you disconnect in that 18 month period there’s a prorated cancellation fee of $450. The cost is $199 and that is for the equipment lease fee, you never own it. Dish Networks Silver pack is $49.95 per month, with 128 kbps upload 512 kbps download. Gold pack is $69.95 per month, with 200 kbps upload 1.0 Mbps download. And the Platinum pack is $79.95 per month, with 256 kbps upload 1.5 Mbps download. Installation is free for a limited time only!! On top of that Dish Network / WildBlue use a dedicated dish for this semi high speed internet service. This means another dish being mounted to the roof. How many dishes can one house take?? Frank Zappa: “There is more stupidity than hydrogen in the universe, and it has a longer shelf life.” Cable Internet on the other hand is so much simpler, no long term contracts or commitments, you can cancel anytime with no penalty. What I like most about high speed cable internet is the price and the speed! I’ve seen introductory offers for as little as $9.99 a month for 12 months, with our cable TV bundled services its only costing us $19.33 a month which is 66 cents cheaper than our old dial up internet and so much faster. We have the basic 3.0 Mbps upload and download, twice the speed of Dish Networks $79.95 Platinum pack. But much higher speeds are also available with Cable internet for those who download huge files, movies, etc. Digital cable TV, High speed Cable internet, and Cable telephone services all come in very reliably with only One Small Cable, One Cable – One Bill!

    Get Your Bachelor Degree Online

Are you an adult who left school before finishing your bachelor degree? Have you thought about going back, but are not sure how to fit it in with your life and your adult responsibilities? As an adult, returning to school can be difficult in many ways. Time commitments, my family and financial responsibilities, and other activities make it hard to find the time or the money to go back to school. To make it even more difficult, as we age our brains function differently, and traditional ls may not work as well on us as they did when we were younger. One option for adults is to get a bachelor degree online. In many cases, this is more realistic than returning to traditional school, to the “halls of ivy,” as it were. Online colleges teach differently, using what is often referred to as “asynchronous” learning. That means if you are not tied to a particular schedule, I don't have to be in a certain room at a certain time. You can participate in class whenever your schedule allows. Most programs offering a bachelor degree online have options for accelerated learning, which means you can complete your bachelor degree in as little as two years. Think of the savings on to wish if you could cut your college costs in half. It also gives you back two years of your life. Put a price on that! One major advantage of online bachelor degree programs is that they are tailored more towards the way adults learn. Adult students are disciplined and motivated, and are studying because they want to, not because they have to. They have specific goals to meet and are not interested in wasting time or money. Adults have a greater ability to learn independently. They have skills in finding information and assimilating it into usable packages. They do not want to “learn for the sake of learning,” but would rather apply their education to their personal and career goals. They like their learning experiences to be practical and applicable to their old lives. One area challenging to online education programs is the fact that adults learn well in teams in small groups. In order to deal with that, most programs include some group learning opportunities. Online education programs apply technology creatively, using forums, chats, teleconferences and other technology to simulate face to face interaction. Programs with multiple students in the local area may have actual get togethers to help reinforce the learning. Getting a bachelor degree online is a great option for many adults, and can be faster and cheaper than returning to a “normal” college to get the same degree. Online education programs which apply adult learning principles have created great opportunities for adults to complete their college education in a user friendly way.

The Story Of The Ultimate Fighting Championship Part 1

You may have heard of it before the octagon. It’s the place where warriors meet to battle each other into submission by knocking the opponent unconscious or forcing him to give up by imposing explosive pain on his body. It is the Ultimate Fighting Championship. The UFC is a mixed martial arts organization that pits 2 opponents against each other, each using different styles of fighting. It was created to answer that age old question: who is the better fighter, the boxer or the wrestler? It started as a sideshow and has since turned into a multi million dollar sanctioned organization that grows in popularity year after year. UFC – The Beginning In the beginning it was just a tournament, the brainchild of Art Davie, a creative advertising executive who witnessed the energy bursting excitement while watching a mixed martial arts (or MMA) fight. He thought it had all the right ingredients that people find in hockey, boxing or karate. MMA, he thought, was the next level, a mixture of everything. He brought on board a Brazilian legend in MMA technique training, Rorion Gracie and a screenwriter, John Milius, who became the creative director. They brought in 27 investors and the Ultimate Fighting Championship was born. Still in it infancy, the UFC had limited rules: no biting and no eye gouging. The result was mayhem. 400lb fighters fought 100lb fighters. Blood sprayed the octagon red like no other event had ever dared to allow. It did not go over well with the mainstream and the UFC quickly became an underground fighting spectacle. Some advocated against the existence of such extreme barbarism, including Senator John McCain of Arizona. It was a downward spiral that ended with the UFC being dropped by cable distributors and individual cable providers. The audience was reduced to almost nothing and the UFC itself was forced to submit.

    Martial Arts Definition

Martial Arts are the various forms of self defense, usually weaponless, based on techniques developed in ancient China, India, and Tibet. In modern times they have come into wide use for self protection, as competitive sports, and for exercise. Jujitsu teaches skills that enable one to overcome a bigger, stronger opponent. A popular style of jujitsu is aikido, which uses wrist, elbow, and shoulder twists and graceful falls; it is noncompetitive and incorporates various spiritual concepts. Other popular forms of martial arts include kung fu, karate, and tae kwon do, all of which emphasize blows with the feet and the side of the hand, and kendo, in which leather covered bamboo "swords are used. All styles emphasize allowing ki (cosmic energy) to flow through one's body. This belief in ki connects aikido with t'ai chi ch'uan, a meditationlike discipline that emphasizes slow, graceful body movements. The most popular form of individual exercise in China, t'ai chi is often performed publicly in large groups; it has been claimed to reduce stress and lower blood pressure. Judo, a Japanese sport created in 1882, makes use of jujitsu principles. Capoeira, a dancelike Brazilian discipline, is gaining in popularity. martial Pronunciation: 'mдr shl Function: adjective Etymology: Middle English, from Latin martialis of Mars, from Mart , Mars Date: 14th century 1 : of, relating to, or suited for war or a warrior 2 : relating to an army or to military life 3 : experienced in or inclined to war : WARLIKE mar. tial. ly / adverb Martial Arts The term "martial art" is used in (at least) two different ways. This can be confusing. Some dictionary definitions only make things worse. The dictionary definition handy at the moment defines a martial art as "Any of several Oriental arts of combat or self defense, as karate, judo, or tae kwon do, usually practiced as a sport." Typically this group uses "Martial Art" in one of two ways: 1) The first definition is a generic one, which defines a "Martial Art" as the study of any kind of combat and/or self defense techniques. This definition includes non oriental arts like boxing. This definition includes both those arts practiced primarily as a sport, and those arts practiced primarily for self defense. This definition includes those arts that emphasize only physical technique. This definition also includes those arts that emphasize a philosophical or mental aspect in addition to physical techniques. In its broadest usage, this definition includes learning how to drive a tank or drop bombs out of a plane as a Martial Art. This explains the somewhat facetious references you will see to "Gun Fu", the martial art of learning how to use firearms (implying, as the dictionary definition does, that a martial art must be oriental to be legitimate). 2) The second definition is much narrower, and draws a distinction between a "Martial ART" and a "Martial WAY". To offer a gross simplification: A martial art is the study of an art that emphasizes only physical techniques. Perfection of technique is the primary concern. A martial way emphasizes the study of both physical techniques and a philosophical or mental aspect as well. Perfection of the self is the primary concern. The emphasis on this distinction is very clear for those arts that have Japanese names. Typically, Japanese martial *art* style names end in "jutsu", such as "jiu jutsu", "aiki jiujutsu", or "ken jutsu". Typically Japanese martial *way* style names end in "do", such as "ju do", "aiki do", or "ken do". art Pronunciation: 'дrt Function: noun Etymology: Middle English, from Old French, from Latin art , ars more at ARM Date: 13th century 1 : skill acquired by experience, study, or observation 2 a : a branch of learning: (1) : one of the humanities (2) plural : LIBERAL ARTS b archaic : LEARNING, SCHOLARSHIP 3 : an occupation requiring knowledge or skill 4 a : the conscious use of skill and creative imagination especially in the production of aesthetic objects; also : works so produced b (1) : FINE ARTS (2) : one of the fine arts (3) : a graphic art 5 a archaic : a skillful plan b : the quality or state of being artful 6 : decorative or illustrative elements in printed matter synonyms ART, SKILL, CUNNING, ARTIFICE, CRAFT mean the faculty of executing well what one has devised. ART implies a personal, unanalyzable creative power . SKILL stresses technical knowledge and proficiency . CUNNING suggests ingenuity and subtlety in devising, inventing, or executing . ARTIFICE suggests technical skill especially in imitating things in nature . CRAFT may imply expertness in workmanship . Martial Arts A martial art is any skill that can be applied in warfare. The word martial means "military." So, a martial art is a military art. Most people don't really consider that when they think of the martial arts. The first things that usually come to mind are leaping, kicking, punching, blocking, inverting elbows, twisting necks, throwing, and sword fighting. That is a very narrow view of the martial arts, though. Did it occur to you that horsemanship, javelin throwing, archery, spear fighting, halberd fighting, wrestling, knife fighting, rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooting, demolitions, logistics, and battle strategy are all martial arts? Anything that a soldier might do in battle is a martial art.

Making The Leap From Employee To Entrepreneur

A Personal Story by Suzanne Mulvehill, Author Employee to Entrepreneur I was so intent on staying in the corporate world that I went back to school in 1993 to get an MBA degree. Two years later, I received that degree and got a job making more money than ever before. I thought I had it all. The problem was that I wasn’t fulfilled. While trying to convince myself that I really was happy with my job, I had a disturbing intuitive message one day that what I was doing wasn’t “it.” I realized that I had a yearning to be or do something else. I just had no idea what. For two years, I vacillated from feeling content with the security of my job to feeling unfulfilled. Sometime around the third year, I gave in to this yearning. I began an idea journal – listing ideas of what kind of business I might like to start and spent time thinking about being my own boss. This exploration stage came to an abrupt halt when I had an experience at work that left me feeling betrayed. I was given a job to manage a sales team and it was taken away because I didn’t pass a test. I worked with this boss for 2.5 years at two different companies, and knew he knew me better than the answers to a test. I was so angry that I gave my notice the following day. I stood up for myself, for maybe the first time in my professional career. Once the anger wore off, fear set in immediately. I was petrified. I realized that in two weeks I was not going to have a paycheck anymore. Paychecks were like lifelines for me. Here I was raising two kids alone. The thoughts and feelings about being paycheckless and becoming a baglady were overwhelming. I was so scared that after two days of feeling sick to my stomach and feeling more fear than I thought I could handle, I succumbed to my fear and accepted my job back. I was given a sales position at a new location. I was relieved. Once the relief wore off, however, the yearning persisted. I realized I was right back where I started. Stuck in a job I didn’t want. I felt trapped and didn’t know how to escape. I thought that the next time I quit I’m going to be prepared. So I attended business start up seminars. I learned two things from these seminars that I need to save money and write a business plan. I was on a mission now. I moonlighted figuring out what business to start and writing a business plan while working full time, running a household, raising two kids and saving money. I decided to start a magazine. I worked in the publishing industry for years and liked the industry. Five months after the first failed attempt to leave my job, I met my boss and gave my notice a second time. I left that meeting feeling completely deflated as he shared that I needed a million dollars in capital to start this business and said without words that I was an idiot for even considering starting such a business. My newly hatched idea had been completely crushed and I again didn’t leave my job. I was depressed and my emotions whipsawed me around – hating my job and doing it anyway because I couldn’t leave. That time I planned and tried and still couldn’t leave. In a moment of humility and desperation, I asked myself, “What do I need to do?” I got an answer. I needed to change and grow. I realized that everything I had done to prepare myself for this transition was outside of me. I had done nothing to address and release my fears, to develop confidence and ultimately, to face the unknown. So this time, I got busy on me. I started an inner journey. I looked at my fears and developed “what if” scenarios that I could live with. I started doing something different every day, to get used to change. I asked for spiritual direction and meditated daily. I read books like, Deepak Chopra’s, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success. Slowly, I began changing from the inside out. My business plan this time was a rough draft of becoming a consultant. I was truly stepping into the unknown. Nine months after my first attempt to leave my job and four months after the second attempt, I gave my notice for the third and final time. The night before I gave this final notice, I had a dream that indicated that I was free now. This was reassuring since I wasn’t sure if I would even make it through the two week time frame and take my job back again. I took an entire month off following my exit from the workforce. I was exhausted, mentally, physically and emotionally. During my meditation time, I began visioning myself working as a consultant and starting a project the following month. An opportunity literally appeared before I even had business cards made. I went to the library to learn how to write a contract, got it signed as was on my way. More than eight years have passed since I left my job and began my venture as an entrepreneur. I wouldn’t have dared dream six years ago that today I would be an award winning author, internationally known professional speaker and radio talk show host. My experience has taught me that anything is possible with passion, patience and perseverance.

Creating Your Own Unique Info Product

Everyone has ideas, everyone is unique, and everyone has something to offer. That being said I’m going to teach you some ways to create your own Unique Info Product. Remember to start with the basics. 1. Start with You. Before you go off researching every idea that strikes your fancy, take a look at yourself. Ask yourself what you may have to offer. Chances are you may know more than what you think. Start by taking inventory of yourself. What are you currently doing for a living? What are your hobbies? What unique interests do you currently have? By doing this self evaluation you could end up with more ideas that are familiar to you than you could imagine. This in itself could potentially save you countless hours of research, which will save you time and ultimately money. 2. Organization is Key. Make an outline. By outlining your thoughts you are giving yourself a graphical depiction of what you know. Keep it basic. Use broad general categories at first. You can and should use this technique for any project you plan to evaluate or implement. You should prioritize your categories. Ex. (gathering the ingredients comes before baking the cake.) Once you have your broad categories laid out then you can begin to populate each category with sub categories and procedures. 3. Evaluate and Refine. Now that you have a map of your potential Info Product it’s time to evaluate the idea. If your hobby is watching TV and you are thinking of writing an Ebook on watching TV you may want to reconsider. Now if you hobby is evaluating Surround Sound Systems and you have enough knowledge to be able to instruct on how to wire and install these systems you may have a building block for something that people want. Will it fly? Is there a need for this information? Can you broaden your potential market with some refinement? Some of these questions will have to be answered through market research. But for now perhaps you have the basic component to start with. Start from within and then reach out. Even if you don’t feel you have a marketable idea, you now have a good perspective of what you know. Perhaps this knowledge can be used in conjunction with another idea that you’re doing research on. The more knowledge of your own that you can tap into, the less time it will take you to get your product to market. This is a key issue with any product. For example a Builder knows that it will take 4 months to finish Plan A, a design that he has built previously, and it will take 6 months to build plan B a new design. Which is more cost effective? Plan A is already etched in his mind. He knows his actual costs, how much material and labor it will take. Plan B is a totally different design. A new set of estimates will need to be prepared; sub contractors will need more information in the form of new blue prints. There is always a learning curve when implementing a new design or product. Given that plan A is a marketable design it makes sense to start with Plan A. If Plan A is not a marketable design then Plan B would be second choice, because the builder can draw from his knowledge base of previously built homes. Now if the builder decided he wanted to build cars he would have to spend quite a bit of time learning the car industry. Stay with what’s familiar at first. You need to know, what you know first, and then you can diversify. Author, Gilbert Murray

Shine A Spotlight On Your Professional Service Firm

Before the Curtain Rises Well before any performance, dancers invest time building a solid foundation. It’s this foundation – not the costumes, lighting or even music – that enables them to give a persuasive, moving performance that connects with their audience. With effective marketing, the same sequence applies. Before the curtain rises on your attempts to attract clients, make sure you’ve mastered the basics first: Get aligned. Dancers spend years learning how to align their body properly for balance and how to keep "knees over toes" to prevent injury. What have you done to align with your customer’s worldview? Do you really understand what keeps your clients up at night…what their real problems are, which may or may not have anything to do with what you currently offer? What are you doing to stay aligned? Do you say no to opportunities that aren’t within your niche? Do you still have a "Plan B" in case your current direction doesn’t pay off or have you fully committed to finding a good niche and making it work? How aligned are your services and pricing with what really sells in today’s market? Build strength. Accomplished dancers may look graceful and light on their feet, but the illusion is only possible because of tremendous strength and power from within. How do you demonstrate your firm’s strength? By showing the market your authority to do good work through well written case studies, client testimonials, bios, media appearances, and measurable results. Be flexible. Without flexibility, dancers cannot move fully or prevent injury. The same can the same be said of your approach to serving your clients. Do you only offer one way to address a client’s needs (i. e., high priced consulting)? If so, you’ll miss opportunities. Package what you do in several ways, at various price points. Go slow to go fast. Dancers aren’t born being able to execute complicated choreography. Ballet dancers train for years before going "en pointe" (into toe shoes). It may not take you years, but an effective, customer focused marketing strategy takes time to develop and launch. This doesn’t mean you avoid revenue producing work in the meantime, it just means you take the time to work "under the radar" to craft the right approach that accelerates your effectiveness once you launch it. Artistry. Every dancer interprets the music and story in her own unique way. This artistry is what differentiates truly outstanding performers and makes for a memorable audience experience. What have you done to identify and communicate your unique competitive advantage? What makes you stand out from others offering the same services? Why should customers buy from you when they have a number of choices? What about your offer, price, guarantee or standard sets you apart and how do you demonstrate that? Expert instruction. In any sport or art form, exceptional performers receive expert instruction, feedback, and coaching. Dancers rely regularly on classes, instructors, mirrors, feedback from partners, video, and critics’ reviews to continuously improve and refine their performance. What are you doing to refine yours? Rehearsal. Only after getting aligned, building strength, developing flexibility, learning choreography, and expressing artistry is a dancer ready to rehearse for an actual performance. When you’re ready to take your strategy to market, make sure you’ve tested it first. This means trying out your positioning statement informally at networking events, writing an article or two and getting feedback, conducting a small amount of telephone research with people in your target market, and so on. Before you spend the money to develop a new logo, print new business stationary, design new brochures, revise your website, or go on a sales call test and rehearse your message. When you start getting a "that’s for me!" response from your audience, you’re ready for the spotlight. On Stage & In the Spotlight Once you’re on stage, your hard work and preparation pay off. However the marketing process continues: Lights, camera, action! Being in the spotlight means it’s time to shine. The dancer’s hard work pays off, enhanced by music, lighting, sets, costumes and makeup. The same is true of how you present your message to the market. Your website, brochures, talks, published articles, how you introduce yourself when networking, and the sales process are simply vehicles for communicating the fundamentals you’ve put in place before the curtain rises. If you start with them, without the basics outlined above, you risk looking foolish and off the mark when it comes to connecting with your audience. Connect with your audience. Being on stage doesn’t guarantee that a dancer will engage the audience. You’ve gotta work it! At a recent repertory performance of amateur dancers at Joy of Motion, a local dance school, the audience enthusiastically hooted and hollered as the Street Jam dancers fully engaged them with their energy, funk, attitude, and huge smiles of joy. The audience fed off that energy and, in turn, motivated the dancers to give their best. What are you doing to build and sustain a relationship with your clients? Are you pushing a stale portfolio of products and services or are you listening to what your clients want and responding in kind? Exceptional performance. Long term success at the box office depends on an exceptional performance time after time. So once you’ve closed the deal, what are you doing to ensure exceptional performance for your clients? Your most powerful marketing strategy is turning in a great performance time after time. Remember your supporting cast & crew. Nobody tolerates a prima ballerina that alienates those around her for long, no matter how talented she is. Likewise, if you don’t attend to relationships with employees, peers, supervisors, vendors, and allied professionals, you’ll find yourself wondering why everyone around you is so "difficult to work with." What are you doing to nurture relationships and alignment within and beyond your firm to ensure your strategy to attract more clients moves forward? In the end, if you give your audience a good value, at a fair price, based on solid preparation and a stellar performance, you’ll garner good reviews, and have a long, fruitful run at the box office. Break a leg!

How To Clean Your Bathroom In 15 Minutes

by Martha Matthews I used to absolutely loath cleaning my bathrooms. It was so much work (or so I thought) that I would procrastinate until my husband would threaten to call the health department. One day, a friend of mine showed me this routine that has helped me maintain my sanity by getting this dirty job done quickly. She introduced me to the “15 Minute Bathroom Cleaning Routine” and my life has never been the same. I was finally free from the drudgery of mildew and soap scum buildup. No more tooth paste petrified on my faucets. Gone was the black ring around the tub that looked like a well placed pinstripe. I was finally free to let the door stay open when company came over. Wow! My family didn’t even recognize the room. They were stunned. I can honestly say that this room is now my pride and joy. Now my friends marvel at my cleaning prowess. My bathroom was so bad that it took a little extra effort the first time I used the routine, but after the initial deep cleaning, it was a breeze. You too can overcome the bathroom blues by following these simple and effective twelve steps. 1. Remove the knick knacks and place them in the hallway. 2. Remove the throw rugs and shake them out. Put them in the laundry to be cleaned if needed. 3. Sweep or vacuum the floor. 4. Spray the counter top and let your cleaner do the work. 5. Spray the mirror and wipe it down. 6. Spray the toilet with cleaner inside and out. Let the cleaner sit. 7. Go back to the counter top. Scrub and wipe it down. 8. Spray the bath tub and shower down (you may not need to do this every week if your bath tub doesn’t get that dirty). 9. Scrub the inside of the toilet with a brush. Flush the toilet to rinse the bowl. Wipe down the seat and rim of the bowl. Don’t forget the place behind the seat and the outside of the toilet bowl and base. 10. Scrub the tub down and rinse. Hint: if you want to clean the shower curtain you can wash it by itself in the washing machine in cold water on the delicate cycle. Throw in a bath towel to help scrub the curtain clean. Remove it promptly and hang it back up in the shower to drip dry. Never put it in the dryer. 11. If you have linoleum or tile, mop the floor. If the room is small, you can spray your cleaner directly onto the floor and wipe it up with a sponge or cleaning cloth. Let dry for ten to fifteen minutes. 12. Put back the rugs and knick knacks. Check your toilet paper supply. Put out fresh towels. The whole process should take fifteen minutes, not counting the time to let the floor dry. It will take even less time if you don’t have to clean the tub and shower. I only clean ours once a month because it doesn’t get that dirty because we use an after shower spray that keeps the soap scum from stick to the shower surface. There are two keys to a fast clean up: 1) Let the cleaner sit long enough to loosen up the dirt and disinfect the surface. 2) Clean the bathroom every week. Pick a day that is your bathroom cleaning day and just do it. When you keep up on your cleaning it doesn’t become such an insurmountable project. Cleaning supplies. 1) Utility caddy to carry your supplies. The dollar store usually has these. 2) Rubber cleaning gloves. 3) Scrubber and sponge combination designed for cleaning the bathroom. 4) Window cleaner. 5) All purpose cleaner. 6) An old toothbrush to get at those hard to reach areas. 7) One roll of paper towels. 8) Pumice stone for hard water build up in the toilet bowl. 9) Toilet brush (unless you keep one in each bathroom like I do). That’s it. Happy cleaning!
