Pace Edwards Jackrabbit Tonneau Cover Review

The Jackrabbit tonneau cover by Pace Edwards is a retractable tonneau or as some may call a roll top. To briefly describe what a retractable cover is I will try to give you a rough idea. The tonneau itself is made from aluminum panels, which in this case are laminated with a water resistant padded polymer. It has sort of a leather look. The frame is powder coated aluminum. The cover slides in tracks which extend from front to back along your truck bed rails. It rolls up into a canister which is located at the front of your truck box, below the cab rear window. This particular model has the option of stopping every 12 inches along its route so you don’t have to open or close the cover all the way. Water is directed from the cover to the side rails and through drain hoses to the canister and then through drain hose out through small holes in plugs in your truck box. This cover has been purchase many times and most people loved what they received. Some say it was easy to install others say, actually most said the instructions sucked. Some give advice to read the instructions all the way through, then read them again, while others say make sure you have all the parts then throw the instructions away so you don’t get confused. All in all, customers for this cover did the installation themselves and were rewarded with many compliments for a great looking tonneau cover. If you have a bed liner you will probably have to do some modifications to install this cover. Usually where the canister sits is a likely place for changes to your bed liner. From what I read I would get some help installing the cover so you don’t end up scratching your truck and just to make the installation a whole lot easier. I have read, a middle age woman installed it herself with little problem. I guess being mechanically incline will help. A lot of people say their truck bed stays dry while other complained about water getting in between the tailgate and the cover. Just off the top of my head, maybe some extra stick on weather stripping may help as it does on some other tonneau covers. Even with lousy directions and water leakage this cover has been highly regarded for its operation and looks. Fitness Aerobic Training

Fitness in general includes both aerobic and anaerobic aspects. According to the priorities of the sportsman, one or the other of the two aspects will be emphasized, but the second one will not be neglected. The purpose of doing fitness exercises is, ideally, to create a complete athlete, able to face various physical and psychological demands. The object of aerobic fitness is the so called cardio training, a term which refers to the cardio vascular system and the heart muscle (myocardium). We'll talk about trainings which do not make oxygen duty and which are generally called 'trainings of aerobic effort'. More exactly, they refer to efforts which take a long time (more than 12 minutes) – usually they take between 20 and 60 minutes and they determine acceleration of cardiac frequency and lung ventilation. Efficiency in training requires a frequency between 60 80% of the maximum cardiac frequency (calculated according to the formula 720 age – in years). The typical exercises of aerobic fitness come from classic resistance sports (long distance running, cycling, swimming, fast walking, etc.) and from different aerobic training programs (aerobic gymnastics, step aerobic, tae bo, dance, etc.). Aerobic fitness uses specific cardio machines: treadmill, classic or elliptical trainer, stepper, etc. Dosing the aerobic effort depends on the somatic type and the actual objectives of each sportsman. Normally, the ectomorphic and mezomorphic types, which do not accumulate large quantities of subcutaneous adipose tissue, will need to practice for a rather short time (20 30 minutes per training in two or three trainings a week, in non consecutive days). This time is necessary for realizing an effective cardiac stimulation, without the risk of losing muscular mass. For the endomorphic somatic type, 'benefiting' of a lot of adipose tissue, aerobic training must last 45 60 minutes and needs to take place 4 6 times a week. Even if trainings are extended (time, miles) and they are more frequent, their intensity, which is given by the cardiac rhythm per training, must remain high, so finally the body burns as many calories as possible. It is well known that only after 20 30 minutes the body starts to mobilize the fat 'deposits'. Before this, at the beginning of the training, the energetic support of the aerobic effort is ensured by the muscular and hepatic glycogen, the same as in anaerobic efforts, which are supported exclusively by the glycogen from the muscles and the liver. This is one of the main reasons for recommending, in programs designed for losing weight, aerobic exercises – they are the biggest and fastest 'fat burners'. Of course, the other big benefits of these exercises appear at the cardiovascular, pulmonary, psychological and other levels. A real euphoria is observed at the psychological level during aerobic training. This is motivated by the big number of endorphins produced in the body by this type of effort. Endorphins, also called hormones of happiness, are not produced in such a big quantity during anaerobic effort. Anaerobic training determines a big release of catecholamine (adrenaline, noradrenalin), which are considered stress hormones. A disadvantage of aerobic fitness is, first of all, non developing a strong and fortified musculature, because of the reduced muscle efforts. We can also observe (and must resist) the monotony of the training, which is long and repetitive. However, generally speaking, the advantages of aerobic fitness are remarkable and irreplaceable.

    Lower Cholesterol Without Drugs

A Drugfree Way to Lower Cholesterol There has been a substantial increase in people having high cholesterol levels. It has been proven in many studies that an unhealthy increase in blood cholesterol levels can lead or be associated with the development of heart disease. High cholesterol levels can also increase the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death among people living in industrialized societies such as the US. The increasing incidence of high cholesterol levels in people living in this part of the world can often be contributed to a high saturated fat diet, smoking and leading a sedentary lifestyle. There are several dugs now available that is being used to treat unhealthy cholesterol levels in people. Most popular of these is the HMG CoA Reductase Inhibitor or what is more simply known as Statins. This group of cholesterol lowering drugs come in different name drugs and is increasingly being used in order to help high risk patients drastically lower their cholesterol levels. Statins can also increase the levels of HDL or "good" cholesterol. Although statins and other known drugs being used to lower cholesterol levels have been proven to be very effective, there are also other ways available for people to lower their cholesterol levels without the use of such drugs. One of these is trying to lead a more active lifestyle. Physical activity and exercise is an important part of several low cholesterol therapies that aim to reduce bad cholesterol levels. Regular exercise can also help in reducing blood pressure, excess weight as well as decrease the diabetes risk. Following a low cholesterol diet can also help a lot in trying to decrease high cholesterol levels. Scientists have found that a low cholesterol diet can help decrease cholesterol levels by as much as 29 percent in one month. This suggests that a combination diet can also be as effective as drugs like statins used to treat people with high cholesterol levels. It has also been established that eating low cholesterol and high fiber foods can cut individual cholesterol level by seven percent. A recommended diet that can help people avoid developing coronary heart disease include consuming non hydrogenated or unprocessed fats, eating a rich diet of soy protein, nuts and fiber rich foods such as oats and barley. Increased consumption of Omega 3 fats from fish and other plant sources can also have a positive effect in any low cholesterol diet as well as a healthy amount of fruits and vegetables.

The Wonder Of Color Making It Work In Your Home

Copyright 2006 Melissa Galt Color! It is often the first design element that a homeowner considers in the decorating scheme, and it is also the easiest and most cost effective way to make a dramatic change in any interior. It affects our moods, our look, our health, and even our success. We use colors to describe emotions and our state of mind ("feeling blue," "seeing red," "looking a bit green"). So read on to find out more about how to make the most of your favorite hues and get the scoop on their real meaning. All colors can run hot or cold depending on whether they have a yellow or blue base. Many of our associations with color are historically and culturally based. Not sure what you really like? Check out your closet. Chances are you tend to wear colors you enjoy, and they are also good options for your interior, possibly in different hues. The guidelines for selecting colors include using test boards or wall areas of at least two feet by three feet in two coats, dry. (You’ll need more if it is a dark color.) Not even the pros select from those one inch chips in paint decks! Check the color morning, noon, and night with lamp light and daylight for a true effect. Selecting the right finish is as important as the best color. Lighter colors are best in an eggshell finish, allowing easy maintenance but limited touching up. Darker, richer colors need a satin or semi gloss finish to really bring out the depth and avoid chalking. Ceilings can be in a flat finish, but they do need to be tinted. White is out. A white ceiling won’t show off your architectural trim if the trim is white also. Consider a warm neutral ceiling color like bone or in children’s rooms and sunrooms a robin’s egg blue. Color is dramatically affected by light, and in fact the same color can look completely different on each wall in a room depending on the light and shadow at play. Most can learn their geographic room orientation without a compass. Just pay attention the where the sun rises and sets in relation to each room. Northern and Eastern light is much harsher, brighter and bluer, exaggerating blues, greens, and purple tones and balancing warmer shades, while Southern and Western light is richer, yellowier, and mellower and will literally make a room feel several degrees warmer without any true change in the thermostat. Homes are often oriented to have a kitchen facing east, to catch the morning light, while a dining room may have a Western Exposure that would feel hot in the afternoon but at night, when used most often, is quite comfortable. This is just the tip of the palette with millions of combinations possible. When looking for a starting point, try working with a rug, starting at the bottom of the room, or a piece of favorite artwork, starting at the top. This will effectively provide parameters to establish a scheme, certainly changeable later. Most of all have fun with color! Ever wonder why so many dining rooms are burgundy? Burgundy is a derivative of red which has been proven to stimulate your appetite and raise your heart rate. For the same reasons and more, many restaurants, especially Chinese, Italian, Mexican and fast food chains, know it can make you spend more money and lose track of time, all while eating more. On a diet? Don’t paint your kitchen red. Looking for a good’s night’s sleep? Keep red out of the bedroom; it doesn’t promote rest. Instead consider the purple family, from lavender to aubergine. Purple is known to slow the heart rate and encourage dreaming, certainly an advantage in a bedroom. On the other hand, it is also a teenage favorite for promoting daydreaming and creativity. If the kids aren’t studying enough or are sleeping excessively and have a lot of purple in sight, maybe a change is in order. Blue and green are the most universally accepted colors, because they are found in nature. Blue is one of the most challenging colors to select for an interior, but it can be used to great effect on ceilings, for a sky appearance, or even in indigo for a night time feeling. It promotes calmness and trust. Remember the expression "true blue"? Green is truly the new neutral, especially in moss, sage, and khaki. It gives the illusion of bringing the great outdoors indoors and is highly livable over long periods of time. It also complements every other color well and is said to generate a feeling of regrowth, renewal and rejuvenation. Green is also a great example of "it’s all in a name"! Many will remember the days of "avocado" and "harvest gold". We have been in a real resurgence of those colors the last five years renamed "moss" and "moonglow" they are much more palatable. When you want to use a brown and you’re choosing between the colors "chocolate" and "mud", which one are you more likely to pick? Food monikers make it all delicious. Brown is in fact enjoying tremendous popularity in recent years. It’s more interesting than beige and is warm and reliable. (Yes, UPS did know what they were doing!) Brown is a wonderful accent to green, purple, orange and even pink. Mocha, espresso, latte and more are all showing up in homes as often as Starbucks. Yellow gives the illusion of sun and is a wonderful option for dark spaces, back hallways and any windowless room. It can get too bright if not balanced with a bit of black in the mix. Studies have shown babies to cry more in yellow rooms than rooms of any other color (full strength of course). Butter cream is always easy on the eyes, but often electric yellow will prove irritating over long periods of time, as much as we associate yellow with caution and slowing down in daily life. Yellow visually is also known to promote memory skills. Yes, legal pads are yellow for a reason! Orange is indicative of affordability and is said to make us laugh. It also is considered to encourage learning and can be used in classrooms. Peach is still passй, but orange is enjoying a resurgence as tangerine, coral, Hermes orange, Cimarron and paprika in conjunction with browns or pinks most often. Pink isn’t just for little girl’s rooms anymore, but can be found in bedrooms, baths and living rooms leaning toward inviting and romantic rose, quiet cameo blush, orange tinged salmon and more. Pink is often considered a soothing color, once used regularly in beauty salons. Many can recall when baked goods came in pink boxes, stimulating our desire for sugar. Think of Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts! Need to give your interior a boost and you as well? Try pink light bulbs. They soften the glow subtly, and you may find yourself getting more complements on your appearance! Black, with its inherent associations with elegance and money, is often best in small doses. A gleaming black lacquer tray, a sleek black leather bench, perhaps a cozy black chenille throw, all can add that touch of drama to the right interior. A black dining table, with brass or nickel wheel accents, and upholstered chairs establishes an air of formality. White indicates independence and a free spiritedness. It is best used when an interior enjoys an exception quality of natural light, such as with desert or island living. Otherwise it tends to look like primer and like you just haven’t painted the color on yet! White doesn’t have to be boring, but it needs texture to make it work and a willingness to keep it clean. White can be beautiful, but grungy is not!

    Information On Headstones

Headstones are an important part of any family's grieving process. Headstones serves to help families cope with their losses. Headstones are inscribed with dates leading as far back as the 1700s, and mark the graves of several generations. There are Revolutionary War as well as Civil War veterans' graves, and several cemeteries are regularly visited by family and friends. Headstones are attractive grave markers that can be positioned on the grave of a loved one. This item does not need to be purchased instantly. If repairs are not undertaken then the right to erect and maintain a memorial will be terminated and the memorial may be removed. During safety inspections, required by law, any cosmetic cement joints may break; this will not leave the headstone unsafe. The Council has a legal responsibility to approve all inscriptions to ensure standards of decency are maintained. The methods of dealing with unstable headstones has been revised and a metal stabiliser is now being used to avoid the stone being laid flat. This will allow owners to make the necessary repairs within a 4 month period. Certain varieties of stone may be more appropriate in some places than in others, not only for their appearance but also because of the effect of weather or local conditions. A reputable memorial mason will advise you on all this.

What Is A Current Account Mortgage

Current account mortgages are a type of flexible mortgage and they have been around for well over 10 years in the UK. Current account mortgages work by combining your mortgage and current account into a single account. For example, if there is Ј3,000 in the current account and the mortgage is Ј100,000 the balance in the account will show Ј93,000 overdrawn. The balance is calculated daily and the homeowner only pays interest on the balance. Any saved income you have in your current account at the end of the month is automatically deducted from the mortgage debt you owe. If cash is allowed to build up in the current account mortgage, the savings on interest payments can be significant. For maximum gain, bills can be synchronized to be paid at the end of each month. Every time money goes into your current account, you reduce the amount of the overdraft and every time you take money out, the overdraft increases. Current account mortgages allow the interest charges on all your borrowings, including credit card debt, to be at the cheaper interest rate of the mortgage, instead of the average credit card or loan rate. So you can save money in the long run, you still need to pay off the non mortgage debt as quickly as possible. If you simply add these debts to your mortgage and pay them off over 25 years, instead of 3 or 4 years, overall you’ll pay more interest. Different features with Current Account Mortgages There are a wide range of current account mortgages in the marketplace. Different current account mortgages come with different features such as overpayments, payment holidays, underpayments and credit card and loan facilities. Some current account mortgages include a restriction on withdrawals, overpayments and underpayments and some include fees and charges, such as early redemption penalties. Interest Rates In general, you will find that you pay for the flexibility of a current account mortgage through a higher rate of interest than more traditional mortgages and because the lenders are also taking a risk with current account mortgages. They will make less money on the mortgage if you pay it back early, or they might not get the money back if you are unable to discipline yourself and make your repayments. A current account mortgage works both ways and if you get it right, in particular the management of it, then it will benefit both the lender and the borrower. The Downside of Current Account Mortgages The downside with current account mortgages is financial discipline. You need financial discipline and planning to properly maintain current account mortgages and to be able to resist the temptation to use the large sums of capital available. The amount of debt visible on the current account balance, in the tens or hundreds of thousands, can also be intimidating to borrowers when viewed on a daily basis! Benefits of Using an Independent Mortgage Broker Due to the range of current account mortgages, independent mortgage brokers can advise and give you information, as well as being able to judge suitability for having a current account mortgage. Conclusion Current account mortgages combine your current account and mortgage into one account. They offer flexibility with options such as overpayment which can allow you to pay off your mortgage quicker. Although current account mortgages are fairly new in the marketplace, their popularity is increasing as more home owners recognize the benefits they offer.

    Private Investigation Agency

What to Look for in a Private Investigation Agency Information is very valuable today. This is because of the fact that the right piece of information can change the lives of thousands of people or could cost a lot of money. People need information to make crucial decisions regarding their lives, business and even relationships. People need information and are oftentimes willing to pay pretty much anything to get it. This is the reason why the internet exists; this is the reason why private investigation agencies exist; this is the reason why information is the most profitable commodity in the world today. Sure, some people may say that oil is the most profitable commodity or even gold. However, we all know that the richest man in the world is the king of information. Because of the demand for information, suppliers have been popping up left and right, demanding high prices for that commodity. Even the government has been trying to get in on the action by trying to privatize the internet. Today, there are a lot of private investigation agencies have sprung up and claiming that they can provide you with the information you need. When in the past you needed to do a lot of research and talk to a lot of people in order to find a great private investigation agency, today, you only need to look in the phonebook under "P". So how can you be sure of getting the right private investigation agency? 1) Resources – a great private investigation agency needs to have resources in order to provide the best type of information for you. When a private investigation agency has resources, then you know that you will be getting the information that you need. Most of the "resources" involved in private investigation are people. People can provide private investigation agencies with the information they need to actually make sense of your case. Most of these contacts are not the sort of people who you would be rubbing elbows with. In fact, you would be terrified to meet most of them in a dark alley. Because of this, you need a private investigation agency to get the information for you. 2) Expertise – you do not commission a carpenter to do the work of a surgeon. You need the right people with the right knowledge to handle your specific case. Not many people know this, but there are a lot of different types of private investigation agencies. Some are experts in missing person's cases. Others are great at finding discrepancies in financial matters. Still others are experts at solving computer related cases. You need to find the right expert to handle your case. You need to ask a private investigation agency if that agency has the skills and knowledge necessary to take care of your problems appropriately. Some private investigation agencies are too eager for the business and would take your case even though they don't know the first thing about your problems. You should try to avoid these. 3) Price – of course, we all know that high quality service may not be cheap. However, you should know that quality does not always equal unbelievable costs. Some private investigation agencies charge fairly. This is because the nature of their work often teaches them the wisdom of keeping their noses clean. You need to choose a private investigation agency who can handle the work without you having to hand over your entire life savings.

Don T Be Bugged Get Bug Detectors

You are walking along, sweeping back and forth, area after area, searching. You are continuing searching when suddenly a sound begins to click, faster and faster. Is it a Geiger counter? No, it is your bug detector. That is right. If you suspect that someone is listening in on your private conversations, strategic development meetings, covert operations, or whatever your reason for secrecy might be, you can stop it instantly and for good with bug detectors. These handy devices promise you peace of mind and are capable of detecting, locating, and verifying hidden transmitters regardless of where they might be. These work not just in your office or home, or only on your telephone, but even in or on your car. You may be asking yourself what the difference is between detecting and verifying a hidden transmitter. Obviously, if you detect and locate a bug, you are verifying that you are being bugged, right? Well, verifying in this instance means something else entirely. Let us say that you are sweeping for bugs and the bug detectors you are using begin to squeal or vibrate, telling you that a bug is present. There is a possibility that what it is picking up is not a bug but an ordinary television or radio transmission. You could drive yourself nuts trying to find a non existent bug you believe is planted somewhere on your television or radio. But since you are also able to verify with your bug detectors, you will then know that it is not a bug but just a regular, non threatening transmission.

    All About Basil

Basil is one of the most popular herbs used in cooking today. It is a very versatile herb, and is used in Italian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines amongst many others. It has a warm, aromatic but gentle flavor, with a hint of spicey aniseed. It's well known that it goes extremely well with tomatoes, where it can be served raw in salads such as the classic Italian Caprese, or cooked into a rich tomato sauce for pasta or other hot dishes. Basil is also popular as the prime ingredient of pesto sauce (known as pistou in France), which is made by pounding fresh basil leaves with pine kernals, olive oil, parmesan cheese and garlic to produce the distinctive thick green sauce so often used with spaghetti or as a dipping condiment. Like most herbs, basil is widely available in both fresh and dried forms. Again like most herbs, the fresh version is generally considered to be superior. If you come across a cheap and bountiful supply of the fresh herb, you can dry it slowly in a very low oven before crumbling it and storing in airtight jars. This method of preserving it costs much in terms of flavour though, and a better option is to puree the leaves and freeze into ice cubes, which can then be dropped from frozen straight into the recipe you're cooking. Basil can be quite expensive to buy in the fresh form, so if you become a fan of the herb you might like to try growing it yourself it's much cheaper that way, and you can also ensure that the leaves you're using will be as fresh as can be! It's also one of the easier herbs to grow and so is ideal for beginners. Basil is a native of warm climates, and so needs to be planted in a sunny and sheltered spot if it is to flourish. If you have a patio or terrace with a south facing wall, then sowing it in a pot there is ideal. It's all the better too if you can grow it close to your kitchen for easy picking whenever you need it! Left to itself, basil will tend to grow into a tall, thin, ungenerous looking plant with little in the way of edible leaves. You can encourage a more rewardingly bushy growth by 'pinching out' the plant as it grows, removing the top young leaves to encourage more sideways growth. Harvesting the herb regularly will also encourage more vigorous growth. Basil is a tender annual, and will die off quickly in cold weather. You may be able to prolong its life by bringing it indoors at the first sign of a cold snap, or you could sow a succession of new plants indoors for a year round supply. Although it is mainly a culinary herb, basil does have some minor antiseptic properties, but is not widely used medicinally by herbalists. It is however a member of the wider mint herb family, and in common with its relatives it's said to be a good digestive aid. There are many varieties of basil available, but the most popular are the Genovese type which gives the typical authentic italian flavour and aroma, and the purple leaved 'holy' basil which is used more often in Asian cooking. Whichever variety you choose, and whether you decide to buy it or grow it, basil is a treat for your senses and a great addition to your culinary toolbox.

Seattle Art is in the Eyes of the Beholder If art is of interest to you, there is plenty to keep you occupied during your visit to Seattle, Washington. From small galleries to big museums and places where you can create art of your very own, there is a little something that will appeal to almost any art lover. I could begin by telling you about the various art museums in the area, but I think that is how I will end. I would first like to tell you about some shops that offer unique experiences with art and the processes of creating art. The first of these called Art By Fire. This unique little shop not only displays the artwork of artists but also offers classes in Glass Blowing. The classes are probably not a good choice for those vacationing as they meet once a week for four weeks and each lesson is four hours long. But, regardless of whether you are planning an extended stay or just curious about the offerings, there is great glass artwork to be seen here and I hope you will take me up on my suggestion that you stop by. They also offer bead making classes that are far less intensive and only require two nights effort (usually consecutive nights) that may be of interest to you as well. The next shop I want to tell you about is called Glazed and Amazed. Slowly we are seeing more shops along these lines crop up across the country, but not everyone has discovered them and they are a great, fun way to bring out the inner artists in you and the rest of your family. You start by choosing a piece of ceramic to paint. You paint your masterpiece, then the kind folks at Glazed and Amazed fire it for you and you get to pick up your finished product in a couple of days. I recommend stopping by this shop early on in your trip as it does take a couple of days for the firing process. I believe you will have a lot of fun here and any children you have should really enjoy the experience as well. I know mine do. Just a short drive from Seattle, in Tacoma, Washington is the Museum of Glass. While this doesn't exactly sound like an art museum, it is just that. One of the neatest things about this particular museum is that you can actually watch glass being made in the Hot Shop Amphitheater. This is perhaps the greatest thing about the glass museum, because here, you can actually watch glass become art. This museum is different enough to make it well worth the drive from Seattle to Tacoma and I really hope you will consider the drive if you have a passion for art. I really believe that the experience is one of a kind. While you are in Tacoma, assuming of course that you visit the Glass Museum, it would probably be a good idea to head on over to the Tacoma Art Museum. You can see more beautiful works of art including more blown glass by Dale Chihuly who is truly is a master of the art. Whatever your personal interest in art, whether watching it, observing it, or creating it, there is plenty to feed that need in and around Seattle. I hope that you will find this great city to be as much of a home to your artist heart as it is to many other great artists. PPPPP (word count 589)

    America?s Amazing New England Coast

America’s Amazing New England Coast Centuries ago, the pilgrims and other explorers that discovered America caught a phenomenal sight in the distance. Too long at sea, they saw the eastern coastline of North America and they were overwhelmed by its beauty and grace. Today, most of us first see the actual coast that borders the US continent with the Atlantic Ocean from the land side. But it is no less stunning from our side as it was from theirs. For one of those sightseeing trips where you get the feeling you are discovering something for the very first time, a trip up and down the east coast of North America can’t be beat. Route one from Acadia State park in far northeast Maine all the way down to Cape Cod offers so many out of the way places to discover that your spirit of adventure will definitely be challenged. One of the most charming things about the coast of Maine and Massachusetts is the little towns that populate that rugged coast line. As you travel the winding trail of route one you will pass through dozens of fascinating New England towns that will call to you to explore them. So give in to the call and take some time to enjoy what these seaside communities have to offer. And don’t overlook those small ocean view diners. Some of the best seafood that can be had in America will come out of those folksy kitchens. A popular photo diary of your trip up the coast of New England will include the many lighthouses you will see. These are not there just for their scenic beauty. There was a time when these were crucial for the protection of seafaring vassals to keep them from shipwreck in foggy or stormy conditions. Each one has a story to tell and if you take the tour, you will be transported to a different time full of colorful characters and wonderful adventures as well. And don’t miss that photograph because the lighthouses are indeed beautiful as they stand majestically against the backdrop of the mighty ocean. Many of these quaint seaside communities have much to show off to their honored guests so you may find quite charming accommodations along the way. You can visit the memorials or even current resident towns of several American presidents such as Campobello Island, home of the Roosevelt International Park or Kennebunkport, Maine, current residence of former President George Herbert Walker Bush or Bush 41 as many call him. Along with great food, wonderful gift shops and great sights to see, it’s easy to find excursions out to sea offered at reasonable prices along the coast of New England. A whale watching tour can be a real thrill if you are successful in finding the mighty ocean animals ready to surface and thrill a boat load of sightseers. Keep that camera ready because they can come up at any time and be gone just as fast. It almost seems like they are showing off as they blow their might columns of spray into the air. And you know what? They probably are. In addition to an exciting boat ride out to sea to snap photos of those phenomenal whales, a deep sea fishing trip can scratch the itch for a seafaring adventure for many a landlubber. In little New England towns like Gloucester, Massachusetts or Ogunquit, Maine, you can join a charter boat that will take you and hour and a half out to sea to drop a line and land some of those beasts that call the Atlantic waters their home. Be careful about seasickness and be prepared as you see the shoreline disappear and you look around to only the sight of water in all directions. But store these memories in your sightseeing fond recollections because it will be experience you will not soon forget. These are just a few of the many fun and fascinating things you will discover up and down the New England Coast. From the reenactment of a pilgrim village to the chance to take a photo standing next to Plymouth Rock, the mixture of adventure, the out of doors, the spray of the ocean and history guarantee a trip that the whole family will treasure for years to come. And it will be an outstanding addition to your sightseeing book of memories as you take in the wonderful things to see and do in this amazing country in which we live. PPPPP 749
